Thanks for the reply I'm worried about fragments or cache files I didn't know to clear out or any other sort of trouble anyone ran into while switching over, though it seems like most of the people here started out on the superior route (Nexus). I used Steam Workshop because it was easy at the time. But frankly there's better mods on Nexus.

Hey all I have decided to switch from using Steam Workshop mods to Nexus. Has anyone else made this transition before and have tips for someone doing the same? I have already unsubscribed from all mods in the workshop, removed their files from the SteamApps folder, deleted saved game data, uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim. I am hoping there will be no problems, but would appreciate any tips that might make this process idiot proof. I have also heard arguments about which is better: NMM or MO for managing mods. I'd like to know which is easier for a newbie to use. Thanks in advance

I have heard modders talk about NMM and MO, there seem to be two camps. I probably need the easier one tho. ^_^;
