Hi,
I would be very please, if i can get a loadorder for these mods
and also in what order to i install them, to make it work.
Indeed i would be very gratefull, after all these crashes and reinstallations today.
Normally i have no problem and run a 100 gig oblivion installation on my own,
but FNV is acting strange lately.

Also i am using good old hi-res textures from fallout 3, aswell as poco and textures over time here and
it shoudl be no problem at all alongside MTUI and Unified HUD, but like i already said the game with all the above just keeps crashing.
BOSS does not help and all the guides do not help aswell, but still there gotta be a way of making this work.

with my NTFS drive it says 0% fragmented. i did reinstall the game and now it is working once again without mods. no surprise there.
just gotta add my stuff now.

i restarted my computer now and this time i did get until the main menu, where it crashed again.
i tried a second time and it crashes immediatelly again, when i try to start the game.
no mods at all. just some stuff, that remains in the data folder, although i cannot
see how that ever could be a problem especially with archive invalidation turned off again.
guess i am gonna reinstall and start anew, one by one.
still how can it become so corrupted in the first place?
i never had a problem like this before, be it morrorwind, oblivion, fallout 3 or new vegas, it usually is a fine game, but this is crazy.

Ok, thanks for the reply, i just checked and it looks like you know a lot, but i dont see how collisions are the problem for me right now.
I cannot even start my game now anymore.
It started by crashing around goodsprings (to be more specific the area near the prospector saloon) and so i deactivated all mods, but it still did crash.
Then i reinstalled the game and it did work again. Flawless.
Then i added some basic mods (body, weather and texture mods like ojo) and it continued to work.
Then i added a bunch more of my mods and it started to crash again, when exiting doctor mitchels house.
This is where i am now and i deactivated all plugins, but still it crashes even on a perfectly clean save.
But worse now i cannot even enter the game anymore !!!
The only diffrence between that is, i once tried to start it with nevada skies and once without,
because somebody suggested it could be an error with that, which also was correct on his part, but yeah.........
How does it come to something like this?
My computer is fine and i can play team fortress 2 without any problems, there have been no driver updates or anything of that nature.
Anyway i will attempt a restart and see if it fixes something. Thanks again.

I installed nevada skies the correct way now and "fixed" it, but the game still crashes, even with no plugins active. >.<
Now i cannot start the game anymore................... i have no plugins active............this is crazy

put everything back, what was the very last mod you installed?
I dont know, the problem is, i always installed a few mods in a row to see how it will last.
I am truly so confused, why this wont work anymore. :(
Now i deactivated all plugins and it still crashes ingame, so that means there still must be something in the data folder that corrupts it via archive invalidation, right?
My save is clean and i can view the area just fine in the geck.
Also i checked the mods folder structure, but 90% of those mods have unique folders, that dont replace anything in the games data folder and as such should have no effect.

Hello,
Each time i try to exit Doctor Mitchels house my game crashes.
I had this behaviour, that the game crashes outside goodsprings
before and i had to reinstall the game again in order to fix it,
but now after adding more and more mods,
it starts showing again.
I dont know, what mod is causing it, so i deactivated all esp to try and see what happens, but still it crashes, so it must be something in the data folder causing it via archive invalidation, right?

I hope someone can help me, because is dont know anymore, what could be causing this.
I even removed the custom meshes from eve out of my data folder, thinking if some of those are loacted in the exterior
around goodspring, it might cause a crash.
I know for a fact that it are not texture replacers including vurts, that are causing this crash.
Also i would like to know, if faulty textures from a mod could cause a gamecrash. It would make this crazy bughunt easier.

What operating system are you on? The newest version of the FNV Geck is 1.3, download that and try again. Hope it helps.

I still don't get what you mean by exiting a door in the GECK.I went into the GECK and could not do it myself.
You need to be able see the yellow door markers (hit m in the render window) and then doubleclick that.
This is one way of how you can exit a door in the geck or another way is to doubleclick the door itself
and just view the teleporter reference.

Well i restarted my computer and now i can load the goodsprings exterior just fine inside the geck with no mods installed,
but when i go ingame with mods it still crashes.The exact area is located somewhere around the prospecter saloon in goodsprings.
For example i can exit the schoolhouse building, but when i walk towards the saloon and am about to pass the first house, it crashes my game.

Hi,
All of the sudden my game crashes around the goodsprings wilderness.
I exit the prospector saloon and it just crashes. Seems the
whole area around it is effected and i have no mods loading.
I tried loading the area in the geck (again with no mods or any plugins activated), but it just continues to crash
around the same area.
EDIT: After restarting the computer, i got it working in the geck without mods, but ingame with mods or no mods
it still crashes!
If it were some godforsaken area at the end of the map, i would not care, but this is goodsprings and i wanted to start a new game. :wacko:
What could this potentially be caused by? Yesterday it works fine and today it just crashes on me?! I also did not change anything with my computer.

PS: Granted i got mods and stuff in the data folder, but i cannot think of anything to corrupt my install in this fashion. Like just what the hell and then there appears to be not even an error dump. None that i can find anyway.

The wilderness around goodsprings does not load, it just crashes, with no mods at all activated.
Also happens ingame now.
I can exit the schoolbuilding, but when i move in the direction of the saloon, it just crashes. -.-

Update

as if by magic it suddenly works again, but when i go ingame with mods/or no mods it still crashes.
The exact area is located somewhere around the prospecter saloon in goodsprings.
For example i can exit the schoolhouse building, but when i walk towards the propsector saloon and am about to pass by the first house on the way, it crashes my game or when i exit doc mitchels house.
With no error dumb to see, this makes me especially sad. :sad:

Hi, my geck crashes each time i try to visit goodsprings.
Only the fnv.esm is active, else nada.
For example i go into the goodpsrings general store and then
try to exit the door (to the wilderness cell) and it crashes.
It does not even say why or is there somewhere an error log?

just copy the data over and you should be fine, but make a backup just in case. i recall kotn only adds 2-3 buildings.
so no big conflict.

Def cut down the npc count or i am not gonna bother looking at this again. Simple fact is the engine cannot support this much at once, even on a super computer.

it is all what ppl have become to believe through advertisments. yes some things are good, but what is on the "side" is just as good, if not even better. go explore and enjoy. now for common folks it is easy to understand, but for politicians, with lobbyist whispering in their ears day in and out, it seems to be harder to discern between what the general public wants and what a very select few demand over it. but even viewn in that light, this bill seems pretty silly imo.
also streams and lets play are a good form of advertisement, but who am i to tell...

go to fomm->tools->bsa browser, open the various .bsa files of the game and hit the extract all button. get the whole package texture, meshes, sounds and whatever else there is, i think it is called misc.
now you should have all the raw gamedata
avaible, that you can work with.
then in nifskope, incase everything shows white aka there is no texture, you can configure it under render->settings, what folders nifskope should get the texture data from.
simply add the folder, where you extracted the textures.bsa to and voila, there we go, a wonderfully textured mesh from new vegas!

Hi, you can go to tesnexus.com and search for Mr. Silkas blender tutorial. It will show you step by step with pictures, how to put a static with working collision model into the game.
