Because designers wants to keep their jobs. One of the issue with design is that once the website is done, you don't need them as much anymore. But they still need to put food on the table. So rather than have them do nothing, they have them "re-design" stuff. The second issue is that many website use this more "loose" design rather than the usual tight one. It's not a bad design, but it is mostly better for children, old people and phone users. But the result is that many designer will shoehorn it into any website regardless of target audience. It's good UI design, but in their case a poor UX design since children shouldn't be on nexus alone, old people are a dime a dozen and the main audience is PC users.

I'm lost. I'm completely lost. But I'm happy. I tried to put meshes, textures and material in the fallout folder, and everything stopped working. Even the only clothing I managed to get to work was not working anymore. And still everything crashing. Out of anger, I deleted these 3 sames folder I just added to \%InstallDir%\Fallout 4\data\ and magic, now everything works. i got my clothes back, my weapon appeared... I have now god damn idea what is going on, but it works. PRAISE THE SUN. (and praise you too for helping me, I wouldn't have done all this if you didn't help me.) thank you ;-)

So, basically, it's like installing manually right? dammit. Was hoping not to get to this :tongue:. Hoped to keep my install as clean as possible. Thank you for the answer ;-) Edit: Only meshes and texture? Don't need materials folder and ESP? Edit 2: Did it, didn't solve anything. I only put the meshes and textures folder, but the weapons are still invisible, and So are the hair (I used the showlooksmenu to check them)

Hello, I have trouble with items from mods I downloaded. They are invisible. Before I get into details, a few informations: 1) I am using mod organizer 2 2) at LEAST one of these mods was working before (on that very save) 3) Yes, I have searched on the nexus, I found people with problem similar, but never found a solution that worked for me. 4) I love lists 5) my "last" playthrough happened about a month ago, before the new updates from workshop. (I stopped playing after the automatron DLC) Now, let's get int it. I installed everything, started a new game create my new character with custom hair from a mod and voila! But then I realise that My body is not like my bodyslide preset is supposed to be. damn it. I look into it and realize I made a few mistakes: 1) Did not add the lines in fallout4custom.ini (solved) [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= 2) Bodyslide causes trouble with mod organizer. (solved) I took the bodyslide folder from my mods, I created a new one(custombodyslide) and added all the files (only ressources, not the esp) from my mods containing custom armor. and put it back in the mods. Still didn't work. Then I figured why: It was saving the files in the real fallout folder, files which where then overwritten by the custombodyslide folder. I then created yet another folder (patched bodyslide) where I put only the ressources that had been patched with bodyslide that where overwritten. Load in the game, and IT WORKS. I got my body preset. But now my hair had disappeared. I created a new character, and checked: all custom hair where invisible. I took a vanilla one and kept playing. I keep playing the game, I try to get armor from mods, and some where working but not the other. (vault slooty vault suit was the only one I found that worked), I pay it no deed thinking it's just a small bug and I'll try to fix it later. Then I kill an opponent and what do I find? M14 on his body. Great. i try it and there I realize: The weapon is invisible. I can shoot it, I hear the sound, it deal damages, but it's invisible. This weapon was working on my last playthrough. I spawned in the LK-05 from another mod for an even worth result: game crash. I looked around, and I heard that it was a common problem nowadays, for items to disappear, but I'm really surprised that it happened only after I managed to install bodyslide. Does anyone know why this happen, and how to fix it?
