  1. I have a mod in my mod list called simply called "STAC". Please help me identify it to help me decide if I need it or not. I don't know if its an acronym or the file name. Thank you.
  2. I love the idea of the seaglide, but I hate how it has as many drawbacks as uses. It could use buffs. Use 2 less inventory slots. (6 inventory slots is kind of high) Travel 10% faster. Use 25-50% less energy.
  3. It doesn't make sense how a wooden gazebo wouldn't catch fire over a fire.
  4. Good idea. I think the developers intended for only mid level gems to go to the dwarf army. The reason is because some of the low quality gems like Garnets are used in quest as well as the high level gems like Diamonds. Gems are in finite quantities. I think we need a mod that does all the following: 1) increases the value of gems 2) increases quantity of gems (maybe added to quest rewards) 3) then all gems be able to be donated to dwarf army
  5. Great idea! I've been searching for a mod that adds renewable or more money. Selling Potent Lyrium Potions is boring and can cause save bloat and isn't super realistic. The golden goose is a cheat mod, its classy but it still a cheat. I was thinking of a mod that adds lucrative quest rewards from aristocratic quest givers, (obviously a peasant can't give you a ton of quest gold). Also another idea I had was increasing the sell value of junk in the game, there is a Dragon Age II mod that does that and it works quite well to help bring more money to a broke player in a broken game economy. There is a lady in Lothering that lets you repeat the quest to sell her 3 simple traps and its pretty seamless, it just feels like your bartering with her instead of cheating. I usually repeat that quest several times over to get a few gold, I try to limit the number of times I do that because then it will start to feel like an exploit if I do it 15+ times.
  6. Balgruuf the Greater: Did you see a dragon? Dovahkiin: (silence) Balgruuf the Greater: Congratulations are in order, you just broke your game.
  7. There are a couple of loot mods like Scarcity (personal favorite, makes treasure and coins feel rare), don't forget Morrowloot and there is Dynamic Loot and More Interesting Loot. Also if you are up for it, editing the loot in Creation Kit is actually fairly simple. You just load up the files, and edit the containers and the markers that say loot. For example you could make a large coin purse have 1,000,000 coins, score!
  8. Would love to see a mod that give's magical characters a hub away from the College. The towers would act as a local magical hub with a quest giver, a magical goods merchant and an enchanting table. At the top of the tower would be portals that allows fast travel between towers.
  9. I was going to make a mod like this. To give bosses more HP, stronger versions of spells and custom epic music, but its a really ambitious undertaking, there are a lot of bosses and it takes a lot of work to make them epic. There are some mods that make a single epic boss fight like World Eater Beater. There is a mod called Revenge of the Enemies which adds powerful spells to some enemies. The boss list is quite lengthy: AlduinAhzidalAncanoCuralmilDukaanDurnehviirEbony WarriorGuardian SaerekGuardian TorstenHalldirHevnoraakJyrik GauldursonKarstaagKing Olaf One-EyeKrosisKrosulhahKruziikrelLord HarkonMirmulnirMiraakMikrul GauldursonMorokeiNaaslaarumNahagliivNahkriinOtar the MadRahgotRed EagleRelonikivSigdis GauldursonThe ForgemasterVigharVokunVolsunVoslaarumVuljotnaakVulthuryolWarlord GathrikZahkriisos
  10. Can his reward for Wheels of Lull top file be unbanned and community asks him to come back?
  11. Maybe give him a second chance. I don't know Steam isn't getting any smaller. Nexus needs a strong community and a legendary modders doesn't hurt either.
  12. Good idea. However Vampires are pretty tough already! In fact, Nightmaster Vampires are number 8 on my list of toughest enemies in Skyrim (unmodded). If you have Dawnguard load a Nightmaster Vampire into your game, they are very tough guys especially on Legendary. Then they are harder than you can imagine with an Enemy AI mod + Deadly Monsters (from Deadly Dragons). But I think more bada$$ vamps is never a bad thing, bring it on!
  13. Recently I discovered Trainwiz. I feel really inspired by him. He made that early space travel mod. *pretty advanced for its time lol He made some pretty cool followers. Fyr Manor (check it out) He created World Eater Beater which I recently watched a video very skilled Skyrim player struggle to beat it and now I want to play it. ...and now Wheels of Lull. I mean his mods have to be the most ambitious for sure. I think he is criticized for stability. I think if he toned down the ambition a little for stability then his mods would be even better and they are already probably the best. By himself he can do things that groups of people working on a project struggle to do. Hopefully he knows the Nexus community loves him and returns to support his mods on the Nexus himself. ---this concludes my Trainwiz praise. So ask yourself, who is best modder or your favorite modder?
