  1. Maybe you are changing gear? The bonus for skills and items is expressed in the Base damage of the weapon. Base 20 damage sword + 3x +30% One Hand gear = 38 damage sword Oops just reread, you are doing armor. Try reworking the shoes with Smithing?
  2. All things stack. Enchanted (smithing) attire + Blacksmith Potion (if you don't have alchemy) = decent gear. My Glass bow is so powerful I never bothered to Enchant it. However, with Alchemy's Fortify Enchanting potion you can get another few % of performance out of the Enchantments you put on your gear. The 100pt Enchanting Perk that allows double enchantments is the killer. +40% to both Stealth and Marksmanship on 4 pieces of gear = Ninja. Ninja Challenge: Go into a mission with only the following: Enchant a Necklace, ring, gloves (Stealth + Marksman) Shoes with Sneak and One-Handed. Circlet with archery. Legendary Glass Bow 10 arrows Dagger == Profit
  3. There are +Enchanting Potions (and Marksman, and Sneak. I have max/max Archery/Sneak Ring Neck and Gloves) And there are +alchemy enchantment (And Smithing) But unlike Morrowind you cannot do an endless boost to alchemy. And Unlike Morrowind and Oblivion, you cannot make your own spells/enchantments. These are both SIGNIFICANT improvements IMO because it's way too easy to make your own -god- spells too early in the game. Also taking all the Food off the Potion ingredient list was smart as well.
  4. Yes, the crafting combo of Alchemy, Smithing and Enchanting is WAYY overpowered. But for the first run through I always go Craft heavy because I like to make stuff. But to be REAL honest, Beth did a great job of balancing it back from what it was in Morrowind and Oblivion, was much harder (and challenging/Fun) this time to reach this level of power. Next run through will be more focused on some specific play style.
  5. Sorry no images but the story is the best part. I have maxxed my smithing, enchanting, and alchemy. So as you can imagine with my sneak/Archery gear on, my bow does a Base 435 damage. With 3x damage for sneak, killing a dragon with one shot is a just a matter of getting the shot off. So, all equipped up I set off to kill a dragon. Get to a spot I've never been. Loose the arrow... Thunk! solid hit... The dragon flies up, and in a death throes scene sure to win an Oscar the dragon does two laps around me to then crash and burn... right 10 feet from where he started. (I'm always in stealth mode) I walk up to the corpse, collecting my dragon soul and looting the corpse, then collect my second word of Fire. I turn around almost walk right into the Dragon Priest that is standing there looking more than a little puzzled... needless to say he got an arrow in the face. Nice mask too.
