I've just read on the Bethesda forum that folks think that the leveling cap is 80 & the perk cap is 50... is this true ?

I hate the idea of a limited level cap - there's so much to see & do I don't want to have maxed the levelling & still have plenty left to experience - taking a key reward moment out of a game as diverse & lengthy as this doesn't make sense to me. Is it possible to increase the level cap to say 70 or 80 ?

No matter what I try I cannot get Steam to launch Skyrim at all. I've tried everything from updating Windows & drivers to re-installing to verifying cache to attempting offline to launching from the system folder to changing User Account from Admin to Standard & back again to deleting the client.blob & SkyrimPrefs.ini in the steam folder & god knows what else...
