Hi, I know there is Undead Servants mod for LE but these are basically bound to the location the player is in. What I would like is when you become a Thane, you can ask your housecarl to fetch you things like alchemy ingredients, misc items like firewood or paper, a random enchanted item, or just a small amount of gold. The chance they bring the asked for item would depend on their total armor/weapon damage. Not sure what dependency to put for mage housecarls. So you talk to Lydia for example, and there is a menu. 'I need something...' and the next submenus have you pick what item you want and how many. Then the housecarl will leave your immediate cell and dissapear from the game world, return after a RNG time between 1-3 days either with the requested items or with a piece of their armor/weapons missing, indicating failure. Regarding mod compatibility, I'd include a mod like Immersive Horses so that if your housecarl has a horse the delivery time is reduced by 50%. Alternatively, a servant NPC could be 'hired' to work for the player. They would perform the same gathering tasks but additionaly sweep the house, and cook food. They would be paid 100 gold per week, which would be counted separately and deducted from the player's inventory either through dialogue or automatically when they enter the house. Would be cool and would give housecarls more life than just being a glorified house pet, greatly improve immersion with servants, and not to mention it would help go around tedious misc quests of bring me X of this ingredient. Sorry for the long post, Here's an imaginary potato.

First of all id like to say J'adore all of you, particularly those that make player home mods. Dovahhugs to all of you. Now, the nexus has a large selection of player house mods, but I am looking for something specific. I'm a biiig fan of secret entrances and stuff like that. And of Undeath, and of dark experiments in the moonlight. I've seen many player homes that would fit a mage-necromancer-conjurer type character but so far nothing for the truly evil mastermind necromancer. What I am looking for is either: 1. Necromancer themed player house situated in an interior cell that has an exit towards the interior of the Windhelm/Whiterun/Solitude catacombs/hall of the dead. 2. All of the above except the exit can be a trapdoor revealed by pulling one tombstone back/forward in the Falkreath Graveyard. The interiors should have all of the crafting stations with or without staff enchanter/smithy/spider imbuing thingy. Two mannequins, 4 weapon racks would be enough. Perhaps a part of it could be a tiny library with 3 bookshelves arranged in an alcove in the wall. But the most important one would be the decor. Creepy, dead draugr, coffins, bones, skulls, blood splattered altar in the middle (that could have a function to summon a Dark Guardian ala Cheydinhal Sanctuary in Oblivion that would patrol the place, and unsummon him). The arcane enchanter should have bone/skull arangement kind of a look, and for the alchemy lab perhaps simply a cauldron with bubbling green/light blue liquid inside (Think Peryite's ganja cauldron). A hearthfire planter for about 5-6 plants would be a neat addition. The space itself shouldnt be big, but well packed, static decor would be best (Something alike to Elianora, whose work is simply amazing.). All in all im looking for a house to reflect the experiments, blood and gore involved in cutting and sewing things back together to reanimate them. The point behind it all is Undeath gives u the ability to be a murderous all mighty Lich, but Solitude sewers is a maze, and im not a minotaur, and the other one is far too remote. If i was a necromancer myself id prefer to be close to the city, and definitely close to the Hall of the Dead. Thank you, Sincerely, The Slash&Bash in the Name of Knowledge Guild

I am not sure if anyone has requested this, but as far as a 15 minute google search goes, it hasn't been done yet. What I am looking for is a mod (hopefully it will be simple to do) that lets u put a flag down, of one of the factions imperals/stormcloaks/mages guild/DB/thieves guild (idk if they had one) etc on the ground in front of Heljarchen Hall (or perhaps other homes as well). Hopefully it will be a dialog pop up window that lets u choose the faction. There is a mod called Heljarchen farm which has an option like that but i tried to pry it open with the ck and it just crashes down every time. So if any1 has an idea if this has been done, or plans to do it, or if anyone wants to support this request, I'd be thankful. A As far as positioning goes, 2 flags left and right of the main entrance to the house should be perfect. PS: I really want to see the expression on Skald's face when i put an imperial flag in front of Heljarchen Hall. Thanks in advance :)

Ha, don't be too harsh on yourself it's interesting enough and the fact that i'm here is because i was looking for a mod that fits that description. There is a mod for Morrowind that lets you buy a mine via a mini quest, hire miners, guards, overseers and mining carts and overall is really good. For example if you don't hire an overseer theres a percent of your income that will be lost due to the miners stealing it. Mod was called Erengard mines i think, can be found in morrowind mod history.

<p>Hi, well i was kind of dissapointed that the Mage's guild in Oblivion would accept just about any mindless nord brute into their ranks (sry for folks that play nords) and even grant them the position of Arch-Mage...The only quest that is along the lines of what I like in the chain is the Vahtecen quest. But after solving the puzzle it still falls down to the hack crack smack and slash that any warrior can do.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have an idea to make the mage's guild progression a bit trickyer and more challenging for mages,</p> <p>Namely, what I want to see, (If it's even possible) is after every quest given to you by Raminus Polus, starting with the Mage's Staff quest, you have to do a crapload of studying. The mod i'm aiming for is something that will add a number of books, at least 1 per each magic school, 1xConjuration, 1xDestruction etc... These books would be available in the Mystic Archives but only on a particular week of the Month, every month. These books would be only readable if you have the appropriate level in the skill the book is named after. Ex: a book named something like "Altering Reality" would require expert alteration to read, otherwise if you try to read it it would pop a message saying "The runes and glyphs inscribed in this book are intelligable only to those of higher learning" or some such. </p> <p> </p> <p>As for the 2nd part, these books will not grant a +1 increase to the skill, no. They will be full of text, approximately 3-4 pages. Now u would have to memorize some of the text (or write it down on a piece of paper in real life) and after that particular week for that school of magic, ex: alteration, has passed, When you appear in the Arcane University, a message would pop up (or something like the message at the top when Lucien Lachance is approaching for the first time" that would say that your presence is required in the Mage's Training rooms. </p> <p>Now when u get there, there would be a piece of paper on a desk or something that would actually be an exam. Once activated, a set of questions with 3 possible answers will pop in. If you answer them all correctly, a message would display "Your training in Alteration, was succesfull" and then the normal questline would proceed with 1 more quest before the week begins for the next school of magic. The examination weeks would be as follows:</p> <p>If say, you completed the mage's staff quest on the first thursday of the month, the following Monday, will be the start of the first school of magic. The order in which the school weeks come wont matter much, but the weeks will end when all school of magic exams are passed. Completing the exam for a particular school, would grant you a master level custom made spell for that school "Ilussion - Command 300 secs or paralyze 10 seconds" , "Destruction - Weakness to Fire/Frost/Shock 80, Fire/Frost/Shock dmg 70 on target." These may seem a bit OP but if balancing is required make it so. Alteration would have a shield 80% or open very hard lock on target, Mysticism would have dmg reflect and spell reflect 40% each, etc.. Some spells that we cant find ingame already, they will be powerfull but not too OP. </p> <p>In the meantime, untill you pass the exam, the next quest from raminus/traven will not be available "You do not yet qualify for the next task"</p> <p>If you fail the exam, you can try again the following day within the respective week. If you fail the whole week.. i didnt think that one through but ill let others bring ideas regarding that.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now I know for certain that some parts of this can be done, because Modular Oblivion Enhanced gives you Lichcraft, which requires you to read the tome found in Lorgren Benirus's chamber in Benirus Manor. The tome, in turn, requires you to be at east lvl 30 and to have 25 in all magic schools (i think? not sure if it was 25).</p> <p>Also the Moriarcis-City of the Dead mod allows dialogue options that pop when you click the gate to Myrk's Lair with response button, so that proves that the exam dialogue can be done.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am willing to write the contents of each book in a text file word or some similar text processing program And the questions on each exam for each magic school. Other than that, im basically clueless.</p> <p> </p> <p>Im not sure if im clear enough, but I hope I am, i will visit these forums frequently so i can see if any replies are made whether it can be done or not. </p> <p> </p> <p>It sounds tricky, and i got no skills in the CS and even less so, scripting. If it's impossible or hard to make, just ignore it.</p> <p> </p> <p>Edit: Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to make sure i covered everything as simple as possible. And Sry for my bad english.</p>

Hi, I found a really good looking armor mod http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/43301 what i want to ask is what is the race used in one of the screenshots made by users, namely the blond male one. I will post the screenshot of it http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/images/43301-1-1360767534.jpg its that one, If someone can please identify the race I would be truly gratefull. Thanks in advance  Edit: Also If someone has a mod called "Crystal Ball Scrying" and could add it somewhere or send it to me by email? [email protected] Basically it was a mod that added quite a bit of function to the Crystal Balls we find all over the place in Tamriel, it allowed you to scry for the location of a chest or increase your mysticism skill or some such. It was pretty cool, and I've been searching the nexus but seems like it was removed. I had that mod downloaded around two years ago, if someone still has the archive and can send it to me thx...
