Your work is good, you have a very distinctive voice. I like your Khajiit, although the Argonian sounded very... well, Men (Nord, Redguard, Imperial), but very well done indeed. I have a large project coming up that will need voices, if you are interested. Still in design, so I'll pitch you something good when the time comes. Again, very nice work.
Welcome Daedalus, and thank you for the kind words :) I know the Argonian and Khajiit both have room for improvement (Argonian especially; there's a lot of vocal exploration required to find the right voice for them) but my goal is to have more voice reels for both of these races that make them sound more definitive, as well as tracks for all of Tamriel's other races. While I'll have plenty of time to do this over the coming week, I won't be able to get more reels out until tomorrow night since my lover's leaving town tomorrow and she requires some TLC before then.
Regarding your project, do you have an elevator pitch or a few details you'd be willing to share with me? I'm always up for helping our community's modders; I just want to be sure I have some idea of your work in mind so I can be cognizant of it while moving forward.

Use youtube to showcase your work, that'd be my suggestion ;)
Are you having trouble with the Minus profile? I haven't had any issues reported with it in a while, and you're able to stream OR download any of the samples as you see fit :)

As far as Farengar goes... well, I may mostly be in my head about it, but if you still need the role filled I will record those lines in his dialect as best I can ^^

Find a new hosting site yet or are you gunna try and fix your minus page?
Budz, are you having any trouble streaming the Guard samples? I'm adding all the new content tonight, but if you are able to stream what's currently on there without a problem then that is hopefully indicative that there will be no problems with the others once I have them up.
If you are receiving some manner of streaming errors, please let me know and I'll immediately look into an alternative.

Thunderstorms and heavy rain made it impossible to record from home last night, but the forecast shows clear all day and it looks like that will stick. Expect the new reels tonight!

To all who are waiting on my work,
I am sincerely for the delay in my providing the samples you need. I'm not one to offer excuses, but I need you all to know that I am presently caught in the middle of my parents' divorce. All of this is new news to me and my siblings, and times are clearly trying for all of us.
While it is my goal to have all of the work requested up to this point recorded and delivered to ya'll by the end of this week, if you are truly on a time crunch and need to find someone who is more reliable, I understand and am not upset if you decide to take your needs elsewhere. If you want to get a more definite answer on whether or not I'll be able to meet your needs in a suitable amount of time, please post back here with a specific (or general) deadline before which you need your samples.
Again, I'm truly sorry. Family has to come first right now.

All I see are the 17 locaster guard files and all that comes up on your page for # recorded are the 17 locaster guard files... :confused:
Had some... exceptional family drama unfold since my last post. Very sorry for the delay, but the emotional hammer put in no condition to provide believable, good quality reels. I have a high priority project to complete due to the delay, but all other samples will be completed by the end of this weekend. If you have additional lines / scriptwork you want done for Lingar, feel free to send them my way so you don't have to wait. Still working on Farengar. I'll be honest, I'm not sure if my voice will be right for the part but I can get somewhat close.... I'd understand and encourage you to look elsewhere if the compatibility with his current voice is your topmost priority, but I'm also happy to do the work if that's what you want.

The problem is that not even the download option worked for me :P
Not really sure the best place to go, SoundCloud is a candidate but not totally suited to this kind of stuff. Obviously a simple file sharing site would get it done as well, if somewhat rudimentarily.
I mean personally, if I decided to make an archive like that at some point, I possess the skills to set it up myself in my site pretty quickly, so I haven't really thought about how I would go about it otherwise. :P I'm sure a websearch should give you some ideas, either way folks defo need to be able to hear ya :D

Oh aight, you remind me of someone I used to know.
I jumped into my profile to check on the files, and weirdly enough I'm able to download and stream them from both my personal and work computer.
Any chance you're behind a proxy server or customized security settings? I can't imagine why that would keep them from streaming for you, but I'm doing so right now logged out, as a guest...

Or this one will take you to the front streaming page, and you should have no problems there.
I did notice a spike in buffering latency on a few of the files, but it should just be a matter of waiting for the buffer to complete.

Edit: Worked for a minute there, then stopped again.
I'm contemplating a new means of hosting, but all the work for streaming form the specified "Kerrark's Streaming" section of my profile... but if there's still an issue in the folder, then UGH. I just had Tech Support looking into, and fix (far as I saw and tested) the problem in the actual folders. Bleugh... Technology.

If you're still having trouble, you can also download the files directly from the minus site. They're small but I understand the hassle that presents, to constantly be downloading / deleting them :-/
If the problems persist, I'll have to change the host. Any suggestions on where?

Good News! The streaming issue with the reels on my profile so far has been fixed (Thank you Tech Support!)

The bad news... Khajit / Argonian / etc reels are going to have to wait until after the 4th of July :( I've got several events to attend around the city, and given the nature of the Holiday I have a feeling I'll be in no shape to record tomorrow night. Work will resume on the 5th!

Alright! I got out of work 5 hours early since there's nothing to do in preparation of the 4th of July!
This means I'll have plenty of time to take extra requests if anyone would like to make them. PM me or post them here and I'll get right to it

Also, here's a thought... would any of you find a free to use package of completely done Companion Voice Overs useful? Combat, commands et al would be recorded, for no mod in particular but those who need them. Let me know if that sounds good and I'll get to it!

Looks great so far.
Working on the Farengar dialect and making decent progress. I'll have samples for Lingar to you by tomorrow, but I'm going to toy around with Farengar's voice a little more. Perfectly mimicking such a recognizable character is difficult, but not impossible. A comprehensive understanding of his lisp is required! ;P

Immensely frustrating... for some reason the bloody website continues to have a problem with streaming audio files >_> I will be contacting Minus to get some resolution on the problem, but in the meantime the reels are still working fine via download.
EDIT: Alright, I'm not exactly sure WHY this is happening, but for some reason the files ARE streamable from the "Kerrark's Stream" Section of my profile... just not from within the Kingdom of Riverhelm folder itself... to resolve this issue, go directly to the stream using the link below and you should be good to go!

Hello, I need a voice actor to voice over a shopkeeper. I've written a basic dialogue tree but I'm no native speaker so it might be a bit clumsy. The mod is a pet shop, and it's still pretty much WIP. The shopkeeper talks about the shop, the pets, and himself. No quests or anything like that, just a bit of dialogue that explains the mod's features to the player. Are you interested?
Hey Volek! Thanks for getting in touch with me :) I'm happy to voice the part (if it's male :P) and revise your script so that it flows / sounds better in English. Simply post a sample script here or PM it to me, and I will get started on it as soon as possible. Is there a particular deadline you have for your mod?

Hello All! A brief update here; I'm very busy through this Friday but then not only will I have cleared and quiet space to works for a full week (that doesn't require me to rent by the hour :P), I'll be using it to knock out as many requests as possible!
I know I don't have many samples up, and presently the ones that are are experiencing some streaming issues (still working on that...) BUT if you have requests / are curious to hear your own mod's dialogue read, please don't hesitate to post! I can't promise turnaround on requests longer than a few lines will be fast (conditions must be right for a good recording season and life happens, as we know) but I'll get it to you as quickly as possible, or within a deadline if you would be so kind as to let me know what it is.

I believe I found the streaming issue on Minus. It's got to do with the files and not the site; All samples except for the second one were created as locked files, which I believe restricts the file's usage for streaming and limits it to downloadable access. This is something I'll be able to fix tonight, and I will be adding a few new samples as well. I'll also be redoing the samples presently listed now that Locaster got back to me with a little more direction, so stay tuned :)
(Also, working on that Morgan Freemen voice... lol)

Excellent, I was saying it right :D I have my new mic ordered and it will be arriving on Saturday. I won't jump to the script right away as I want to work a little on the voice then send you a sample track for your approval or direction. I've got a few other questions
1) The voice - is it disembodied or will there be a physical character model speaking the lines?
20 As far as what you'd like to hear in the voice, how is it old? Old in mortal terms, sounding beyond the age of 60 or so? Old as in ancient and exotic in the sense that it's implacable? Or old in the mortal sense but preserves for centuries via magic, or something of the like?

With mounted combat introduced, any chance he can also fight alongside you? Because THAT would be a mod worth downloading :D Not saying it isn't as is (but I have no idea how to upload it >_>) but having the Headless Horseman chopping at your foes with an ax would be immensely satisfying.
