ok i got a minor nuisance so i got looks menu and when i go to add things like makeup, damage, facetattoos, etc they don't show up...until i quit the character creation then the changes show up. what could be the issue?

guess it will be a mystery oh well

ok i need help....im remodding on fallout 4 and by remodding i uh. went in and deleted ALL mods i had(all 168 of them) to start over. why you ask? well it was driving me crazy. i haven't played on fallout 4 on my pc in over a year and i need a fresh start cause i don't all i got. however there is at least 1 mod im trying to track down that i should of made note of. its a settlement mod, and it added a number of things, one of them, being was a series of bacons that you would activate and get 3 settlers of various types. one added 3 human males, 3 human females, 3 ghouls. etc. does anyone out there know what im talking about. now this mod doesn't just add the beacons it actually adds a TON!!!!!! of settlement related stuff...i think anyway LOL like furniture, building stuff like walls and stuff etc. anyway id appreciate the help.

ok so there is this is gun called the Laser RCW its a laser machine gun made to look like a Thompson machine gun. anyway when i go to take it out the image or textures of it not sure what the term is is gone. the gun is SUPER bright and also goes to black. and there isn't much sound when you go to fire it. and on the pip boy menu when you go to the item itself where the image used to be instead has ......pipos error 26. i don't know if any of my mods are causing it or not and it would be a pain to have to uninstall the game and reinstall every mod one by one just to see which one does it and then uninstall again when i find the problem. clearly a mod has deleted the image or something.

so i wanted to give a report on the mods you guys have suggested. so i been mainly setting my character and downloaded Looks menu and looks menu compendium which are freaking awesome! really makes character customization look more cool. CBBE is really cool and after about 30 minutes of watching a how to video i was able to do bodyslide! i may even make my preset :) VTAW is really cool(a little complicated LOL) KS hairstyles, Azir Ponytails look great, lots of great options. also got a lightsaber mod from a guy named DMangus, that guy is freaking amazing! he's got some other really bad ass weapons mods that i plan on getting. also got the mod for Service rifle, haven't gotten to the place where the quest starts as its on the other side of the world LOL but ill get there soon :) i haven't done much with settlement stuff so ill have to get back to you on that. also need to download the armor and clothes suggestions ya gave me.

thank you for all of this! i will look into and im glad you included stuff like hair and stuff. i don't know why i didn't mention that in my list of thing cause to be honest thats one of the things Fallout lacks and badly!!! they have had the same boring ass hair styles on all the games. its really sad when you think about it. i mean i know its the wasteland and everything and hairstyle are also supposed to reflect that 1950s aesthetic but come on! spice it up a bit! its why i have the Mojave delight mod on my new vegas. looks so much with those hair styles

well id like to share my desktop with but something is not clicking LOL i can't get a big picture that is 250KB id have to shrink down to 200 by 200. not sure how you guys got big pic on here :confused: so ill just describe it i suppose. it has very few icons on it as my pc i still new you can go to my profile and see the stats i just posted on my PC :) its not completely top of the line but its a trillion times more advanced then my old one which over 11 years old.

i have chosen NMM :) a friend of mine convinced me to get and sent be a bunch of videos on how to use it ..which is good cause the last time i tried years ago i go frustrated. and i hate bethesda net now!!! since installing a mod manager i've been researching mods and found some videos listing mods...go the links provided and get the following.....this mod will no longer be available here and is now only bethesda net. that is so bull crap! i hate not being able to log into mods on fallout 4 cause of the stupid bug! that apparently other people have as well...i have tried everything to try and fix it. oh well, what im looking for is the best Settlement Mods, weapons, sexy clothing for women(wink) and armor and clothes lastly....all in that order too. im a big Settlement builder!!!!! love every bit of it and have built some bad ass stuff on PS4 that im still proud of. but now im on pc...i want to do something really bad ass. any suggestions would be nice.(guess this post should be changed to mod suggestions now LOL)

so i just got Fallout 4 for pc and was looking forward to doing mods but when i got log into my bethesda account it says can't login and i have the password and username correctly. so i thought id try doing mods outside of that assuming i don't need to log into bethesda to use these mods as well in any case im looking for a easy to use mod manager.

ok so there is computer i was thinking of renting it has a AMD A8-7410 APU-AMD Radeon R5 Graphics 2.20 GHZ with 8GB of ram. now i've tried googling it see how good it is with gaming but sadly all i could info on is with labtops and this computer is a Desktop so thats a different. what i want to know is how is it with gaming on DESKTOP lol got to emphasize desktop. what kinda games can it run?

i agree as well quertyzeldar fallout 3 had the best story! and new vegas had some of the best content..by adding more guns which was one of the downsides of 3..not too many weapon options. and 3 had my fav dlc out of all fallouts!!! mothership zeta.

well its been a while since i been back here...at least 4 to 5 months maybe. and i'm amazed to find mods are still being made for Fallout new vegas and even 3! i figured with fallout 4 people would stop those games all together LOL

ok i took another look at this :) and now have the hang of it...thank you everyone for helping me. i've already installed 2 with no issues as a test..took a few tries to get one working but only cause i didn't read the instructions LOL now its time to install more :D

thank you everyone for this help...but after trying to use DAO mod manger i have just giving up :( it makes no sense...i mean i get how put the mods in the DAO folder but where do i put that folder? do i put the DAO folder..inside the Dragon age origins folder? i have watched 3 videos on the subject but no mention...just says extract mod manger and put on desktop and add mods. not sure if the game just magically picks it after that or not. so im not sure what to do...i developed a bad headache just trying to figure it out :(

just install mods...i need to know if i need a special program to manage them like fallout mod manager manages mods for fallout 3 and new vegas

So I decided to reinstall fallout new vegas again and play it. I start it up then strangely everything is in Russian, so i went online and i did the steps to fix it like deleting a file called falloutnv_lang or something, then every thing was good started the game, the menu was in english, then i pressed new game and all the opening movie subtitles were russian, then when you normally start the ultimate edition the game gives you items, well all these item names given were in russian, then the vigor machine was also russian, everything else was english? doc Mitchel sub titles were english, character creation was englsih? how do i fix it to be all english? thanks.

ok i wasn't sure where to post this but here goes. you know all those mini quests on nv that has you killing so many bugs and then you get a bug killer perk. and other quests to that offer quests. while i was wondering if there was a mod like that for fallout 3?
