  1. Sorry for the double post, but Please allow it due to excitment of releasing a fully working, fully custom made product that is actually, in my opinion, the best thing ive made so far :)

     

     

    ok, back on topic.....ITS DONEEE <3

     

    Its not the best looking ( I think it looks great apart from the advert board, Its too bright and I ran out of time for making a flashy ammo sign)

    But it is a working, fully havok ready collision proofed model of a vending machine for your mod.

     

    And here are some pictures of it in game.

     

    its also my most customizable item ive made yet, as all the uv maps are THE MOST BASIC I could make them ( so its very very easy to reskin to your hearts content).

     

    Enough of me being proud, heres the pictures, i shall upload all files tommorow as free use for everyone to use in mods.

    ( you will notice it is bigger than an average vending machine - just resize it via the geck - Press S while in move mode )

    I think ill redo the danger stripes on the board tommorow, make them a little more weathered.

     

    Other than that I hope you like it, im proud of it and hope it gets used in your mod :)

  2. No no, dont remove it, because people will always want to download before others, and it allows you to see progress.

     

    Look at it this way, ive got three files up for modders atm, and ive recived something like 4 comments back about them. One file has over 2000 veiws, so, a lot of people will look and go `not for me,'

  3. a lot of people wont download it until its finished, dont get discouraged man.

     

    Its just more fun to play the complete thing than to have to keep updating and doing what youve already done if you understand.

    Im enjoying making this model, Because its HIGHLY customisable to the user, if he wanted to make it dispence coffe all he has to do is change one image file ^^.

     

    im pretty proud of the way things are turning out with it, just got to do the advert and test it in game then its all done =D

    Theres going to be an advertising board on top, done in 1950's style advertisement.

     

    Im currently texturing it all now, then it will be ready.

  6. id love to get into the industry, but its just a dream really.

     

    I gave up my chance when I turned down a games design course at college, so maybe one day.

     

    Modeling for me is a hobby, and If I can help people while doing something I enjoy, then it just makes it more fun. :)

  7. Heres a quick little update for you then,

     

    If your planning on making more variations, e.g - making a one stop ammo shop and just having diffrent ammo machines, we can change the texture accordingly.

     

    And im glad you like the idea, Im spending quite a bit of time texturing this machine, im quite proud of the work so far, but anything you like changing just tell me :).

  8. Thats fantastic news to hear,

    As always in the games industry, its more about heart and desire for your aspect of gaming ( be it modeling or texturing, scripting to level design) all companys prefer you to have a passion about your chosen form. Having the qaulification wont get you instantly accepted, but by god, it shows your dedicated.

     

     

    I only hope to see you on the credits of the next big game release. :)

  9. Ive started work on a bio-shock inspired vending machine, basicly, its a built from scratch mesh of a vending machine - but, im putting a tv on the top of it, or an advertising board, meaning, you can create variations, I belive this will be better for your mod.

     

    I just finished the model, so heres the first screen shot of a WIP machine for you.

     

    its nice to have a fresh idea to work with :)

  10. Thats great news, does it HAVE to be a biodhock el bandito ammo machine?

     

    If you can give me a description of what you want modeling and making I could make you a custom model that works in game, you know, so you dont get sued.

  11. I think your going over the top with the sign, A simple one like the good springs one would do nicely.

     

    I mean, thats something I can look into for you, but what your talking about is a little above my skill at the moment.

  12. The mask thing could be EASILY done.

    ive got a lot to do, but Ill add the mask to my list of things I should look into.

     

     

     

    edit: okay guys, started on the mask today.

     

    I will update as and when, seeing as i dont watch this show, it might not be 100% accurate.

    Im using this as a refrence.

  13. Hey guys, I need to figure out how to export my collision from blender into nifskope into geck.....

     

    Ive been following the youtube tutorial for `nifskope to blender,' but obviously using my own models.

    Everytime I import my model - it crashes the geck, Its not down to trishapes, I think its the collision, so anyone got any tips or tutorials, or even the way you yourself do it and get a working collision ingame without using the default nif files collision?
