  2. Agreeing with Sunnie here. This was not up for debate, as stated, even people who cannot hold a pencil propperly get their hand held by the great tutorials bethesda and our own community produce for scripting. You NWN noobs might need help scripting, us nexus guys and girls on the other hand, don't.
  3. Theres never been a need as far as Ive known. Scripting is pretty easy to do. And even for non-programmers, spending a week learning can make you like a pro. Just my feelings.
  4. I cannot wait for Horse Armour, It just made Oblivion, THE game for me..... But seriously, I think they will add more of the same old, possibility of a talos god quest, similar to knights of the nine I think.
  5. Well, It wont make the blender to skyrim transition easyer. This is because nifskope is used in between the two. It is essentialy the same as modding something from oblivion to skyrim. I am planning on waiting, because I do not know if the Ck will be diffrent in many ways, or not so many ways as the obivion CK.

  8. Sorry , thelonewarrior, I was not trying to have a competition or anything with you, I just wanted to make sure you knew what you were doing is all. We always have people posting mods that never get finished, so its nice to know im submitting something that will turn into a mod. Rather than making a post that never gets looked at :P Heres the info for you old chap. Well, thats it. As stated I can give voice overs for him while he is in town, however, I think you will want to wait for the CK before we start that ? :)
  9. Hello, I am all for this, I shall get my char details up soon, I can also provide some voice acting for my NPC. It would not feel right having him walk from town to town only to sound like a guard, or have no speech at all. I support this mod, and will be keeping and eye on it. Out of curiosity, have you done scripting before, be it oblivion CK, or the GECK?

Seriously, the ball is in valves court now, Zenimaz probbably signed an agreement for the steamworkshop and in return they get to stick their game on steam. Or something, I dont know. As john lennon once said, give peace a chance, stop the fighting and wait for the CK, please, brother and sister modders? <3

  13. From blender, tricky? In oblivion I think you parented the object to the skelton, selected the object and hit weight paint, then edited the weight from there on. However, things might be diffrent in skyrim. (edit, things will be)

  15. I will look into doing this, I could even use some vanila items to make various forms, poor people, travelers ect could simply carry a large sack on their back. Richer people could perhaphs carry a steel plated back or something. Im usualy all for RP and what not, and sticking to the rules, but I might release two versions, one that is realistic e.g - backpack adds 50 to carry weight, or one thats gamey - backpack adds 100-400 carry weight. ;-) Im opent o ideas, if anyone has something they think the backpack should look like , tell me. Of course, this is still just an idea.

  18. Looks great other than the chainmail handle. Sorry to say that that will need redoine, heck, why not just have it as a dragon bone? P.s I know its not finished yet, so maybe you are just leaving it for later.
  19. I dont know what the scripting launguage will be for the Creation kit yet, but if it does turn out to be Java releated or styled than Id love to help on this project. I play Skyrim for RP, not to be a god aha.
  20. This is something to think about, I might consider it after making a mod or two. I already started with mod Voice acting packs for you guys, the packs are pretty generic for quests and I am always upload more :)
  21. Hi nemesis, the cicero fix is due to him popping up in the Dark brootherhood questline as a main NPC. When you get into the Dark brotherhood quest line, can you report back and tell us if he moved or not, then we can see if this is a bug or just a simple immersion breaker. Cheers man :)
  22. Hi Adolon, I red the quest idea and I think its got a great future ahead of it. My only concern is how experiened are you as a modder, I know this sounds very rude, but it is often best to start of with small projects. The CK is easy enough to use, but perhaphs if you release this quest in smaller sections, such as adding in the count, getting him set up, doing the castle and castle interior cell ect. Releasing it, getting feed back, and then re-tweaking fixing before continuing on with the mod. I wish you all the best of luck, I just dont want us to loose another new modder to `Construction set blues,' On the other hand, you say you did part of the mod on oblivion, so you should be fine, I guess most of us are starting out fresh with the new CK. =]
