the thu'um IS what the dragons use for their breath. It's the exact same thing. However humans are limited to only a few word combinations and power whereas dragons do not have this limitation.

That would be the best ending ever. Unfortunately we had to stick with the usual predictable method for going to the "afterlife" =\

Loads of Map Room *Minor Spoilers*
Inathero replied to Inathero's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
shrugs. all i'm saying is that they left a huge part of the map unused sure it might be used for dlc but really, i doubt it. the map is actually larger than what is shown in the pipboy, so are you saying the parts not shown in the pipboy (beyond the map barrier) will be used for dlc? highly unlikely Like what deltadeath93 said about the northern passage, I agree fully that it is highly likely to be a dlc spot but by tlc'ing to enter that huge part of the map, its just as flat as a table and has semi-low res repeated floor textures - just as if you went beyond the map's border boundaries in fallout. -
Ok so from what i've read and found out is that the new vegas map is slightly larger than FO3 but overall are the same size (from various sources. google "Is new vegas map same size as Fallout 3?") So both maps are bascially the same size, however New Vegas seems to be lacking a lot of stuff compared to FO3. I have, essentially, discovered all the location on New Vegas and am now bored out of my mind. However looking at the map and then FO3's map, there's soooo much space left in New Vegas -- About a fourth of the map wasn't used. Look below: (sorry for New Vegas map, had to improvise) *** Minor Spoiliers for New Vegas: shows all locations and faction locations*** FO3 and New Vegas: http://imgur.com/D3gzI.jpg and http://imgur.com/smWcU.jpg Now seriously, FO3's map was great. the entire map was explorable, no invisible barriers blocking you from parts of the map, and the very corners of the map had places more or less. Then we have New Vegas's map First off, when i was looking at the map on my pipboy, I saw that huuuuge expanse of land on the left side of the map (area below jacob's town and above mojave outpose). So when I went to the "entrance" point (Canyon Wreckage), and ofcourse, couldn't go past due to invisible walls. I nocliped through the wreckage and saw this huge expanse, and I mean really it was almost as far as the eye could see in the game. that entire place is completly empty. fun. Everything on the top of the map is empty too. I'm not bored enough to explore and see if there are invisible walls there or not. Again, just look at the FO3 map and the New Vegas map. Maybe they did that to give modders some room, I have no idea, but seriously wtf? Sure i know it's probably fit to scale to real world but still... Share your thoughts on the map comparions? lol

Probably programming error where the limit is 256 (255 + escape character '\0'), That's my guess lol. Probably wrong but who knows

What are the for possible endings?
Inathero replied to robertward203's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Spoilers
Sigh, that's not what he meant. We're talking about the 4 main endings. Not the 12 different mods for the endings. If you play as House or Yes Man, you basically do the exact same thing for the Main Ending. The only thing that changes is the very very last bit where you talk to the general and then talk to Yes Man / House right after that. Basically the exact same thing If you play as House, Yes Man, and NCR, you do the same thing on the dam and go and confront the Legate. Haven't finished NCR playthrough just yet, but I'm thinking it's slightly similiar to the House. The only completly different main ending is if you play under Caesar. You attack the opposite direction, once you get to the visiting center you go into the dam and you go accross like 4 huge hoover dam sections till you reach the NCR's general's office. Completly unique compared to the other 3 endings. So bascially, we have two different endings here -
[Request] Enclave or Enclave Remnant Faction
Inathero replied to geccko's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Ideas
Well I do know there is an enclave remnant bunker in the game.. -
Someone please add a lot more of NPC's to New Vegas (mainly on the strip/casinos. maybe freeside also). The place is just way to damn barren. So on the streets of Vegas there's a max of 10 people? really? New Vegas seems like a ghost town to me lol
-
I second this notion haha. to me the wasteland seem so damn barren =\ Sure it's a wasteland but still... Not to mention basically like 10 people tops in the strip. fail imo =\

dunno where it is but it is definately in NV (one of the loading screens talks a tiny bit about it)

Reputation Console Codes? How do I get them to work...
Inathero replied to Draco856's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
I think i figured it out. works for me atleast If you want to set your reputation to be "neutral" to say, the boomers, for instance, type this in: setreputation FFAE8 1 0 if you want to be idolized, set it to this: setreputation FFAE8 1 100 and i'm guessing, to set it to the worst reputation do this (didn't try it yet though) setreputation FFAE8 1 -100 guess this can help as a starters point lol -
Basically at the ending, right before the flashback/credits, Yes Man comes to you and says well done for taking care of the NCR and legion. then he says he's going to upgrade his personality to make him more assertive. That is followed by "It was fun, bye" or something like that. Does this mean that Yes Man will do something like iRobot? will he betray the currier and take control of New Vegas and the Mojave by himself?

I second this. Has to be one of my favorite mods for Fo3
