Dear Nexus Community, I am looking for modders to achive a better visual experience. This is about "Enlighten" [bEnableEnlighten = 0]! Comparison Screenshot Go to Documents\My Games\Fallout 76. Create an .ini file called Fallout76Custom.ini Add the following lines to the file: [Enlighten] bEnableEnlighten = 0 This disables the 'Enlighten' functionality, which so far has eliminated the "glowing" texture issue. Everything looks better except the water: The water is missing or turning black. To fix the missing water, try in pref ini: bSAOEnable=1bScreenSpaceReflections=1bUseWaterHiRes=0bUseWaterDisplacements=1bUseWaterRefractions=1bUseWaterReflections=1bUseWaterDepth=1 Now the water is black, but the black the surface is covered by space screens reflections. It seems to me, the water is made of 3 components: Enlighten, Ambient Occlusion & Reflections The main part is Enlighten, but Enlighten looks like crap on the rest of the game. So I wonder, is it possible for our modding community 1) to mod enlighten in a way, it only affects water or 2) to mod enlighten to reduce the glowing or 3) to fix the black/missing water. Let's make Fallout 76 great again.
