Thank you on the directions. I followed them and the spirits attacked and I defeated them. However, the large door to the right of the altar still says I need a key. Can anyone suggest where to find the key. Do I need to go back up and fight some more skeletons while looking for it? The Ritual IS the Key. The door opens automagically when you've completed it. Not sure which step you're missing/doing incorrectly. Can you recall the codex number for the ritual??? Thanks for the reply. I will try again. I was messing up due to not recovering the codex yet for the ritual. I kept getting beat up by the skeletons. Anyway, got the codex, went back to the altar and did it right this time... thanks for help..take it easy.....
