  1. I am viewing block info correctly, I have told NifScope the correct New Vegas path, the reason I'm posting here is because I simply cannot understand why I can't see the textures! I was hoping someone have had a similar problem and know how to fix it, or maybe some of you could make a list of exactly what you did to make textures load? I'm quite confused.
  2. I ran into yet another problem, annoyingly, this one doesn't hinder my modding but it does slow it down a lot. Every time I open a mesh using NifScope, the textures that SHOULD load with it doesn't. All the textures needed are related to the mesh like they should be, and I've designated the right folder, but every time I load a new mesh I have to manually go trough all of the mesh parts and "activate" the texture for the individual part. Surely there must be something I'm not thinking of or are too thick-headed to notice. Any help would make my modding so much easier and you'll have my eternal gratitude ^^.
  3. I did suspect it would end like this eventually, but... I... Feel... SO stupid right now... Thanks tho, for helping me out ^^. It was driving me crazy not being able to find it.
  4. I read your thread, and it does indeed seem to be a similar problem, but due to my unimaginably thick nature, I am still confused (likely due to me stubbornly holding onto the old ways and refusing to admit its not like that anymore =p). I noticed that you also can't find "NiSourceTexture" anywhere, and so it still has me confused. What truly annoys me is, I opened one of my old Oblivion mods, and there it was, clear as day. How can I possibly miss it? I apologize for asking you to waste your no doubt precious time with my problems, but would it be possible for you to have a look at the Hunting Shotgun mesh in NifScope and see if you can understand, and (even more impressive) explain to me how I can understand or at least alter it as well? I would be forever indebted to you! Also, you are absolutely correct. I did mean NifScope, how I managed to mix it up in my mind I have no idea, but oh well =3.
  5. Hey thar, I was getting back into modding with the recent New Vegas release, something I haven't done since the years after TES IV: Oblivion was launched. Having not done this for so long had caused me to not fully understand the new InfScope version, and the older ones doesn't seem to work. I'll get more specific: When I load a mesh, the texture isn't displayed, this didn't use to be a problem before, so I'm quite baffled by this and unable to understand how to solve it myself. I've spend many hours, but I just find myself getting more confused. Tied to this with textures not showing up on the model is that I cannot seem to get my new altered textures to stick to the mesh. I cannot find the path it's supposed to stick to (or WAS, like how the old version I used did it), and so I cannot seem to be able to alter the texture of my current "easy start", which was a Hunting Rifle, no mesh changes at all. I thought this would be a piece of cake, it annoys me to find I was wrong... Anyway, some help in this would be awesome. I've read and reread the guides on the nexus, but none of them seem to follow the new version, so it has yet to prove helpful to me. I've googled it, checked InfScopes official guides, but they too use the old version and are of no help. It is likely that my problem is caused my me being astronomically thick, and if that is the case I am VERY sorry for wasting yours and indeed my time. Thank you for ANY help I may get on this matter, I would very much start contributing to the already existing mods on the nexus, but will not do so if it's something as boring as a quest for a shotgun that looks just like any other shotgun...
  6. I was trying to convert the Hunting Shotuns .dds to .jpg earlier today using what I normally use, which is DDS Converter 2. It, however, had suddenly decided do stop working. The program starts up fine, I open the folder with the files, select them but for a reason I do not understand, I cannot click the "convert" button, it just remains greyed out and unclickable. I was able to dodge this by using IfranView to convert the file (having tried most other converters, who for some reason didn't work), did what I intended to with the textures, but now I cannot get it back to .dds! DDS converter 2 still refuses to let me click the "convert" button, IfranView doesn't appear to be able to convert to .dds and the other programs I've tried doesn't work at all due to some PC complications I suspect. Have anyone got any help for me on these matters? That would be greatly appreciated! Also hope this is the right place to put this thread...
