I was crashing in that area today. Cleared my entire mod list and it was fine, so I knew it had to be a mod. Turned out that removing MMM 6.2 stopped the crash, sad to say. Not sure if it is just MMM or MMM's interaction with other mods (e.g., too many scripts running in total?), but removing MMM definitely stopped me from crashing when I approach the hut at Wilhelm's Wharf. I tried various reloads and it was not random that MMM caused a crash there.
