Right, so I felt like replaying New Vegas again and I sat out to gather up the mods that I used in the past and a few new ones as well. At first I had no major problems. Just a few random crashes that I have come to expect from this game. Wasn't really that bad but now half-way through the game it has become a lot worse. Instead of just crashing when entering a new area or leaving one. I am now randomly freezing as well. I thought it might be a mod problem so I went out and disabled all mods, got back in and started to fast travel around a bit to see if it would be better and that seemed to help it. So my next thought would be a mod conflict or a load order conflict. And since I'm no expert on that I thought I might as well seek out someone that does know more about it. So my load order would look something like this. GTX 480 1536MB. Drivers are up to date. I did try got get CASM for my saving needs instead of the default ones to see if that helped out but I'm not quite sure if it did. If so, it wasn't very noticable. I have been using the fnv4gb, NVSE version. I have tried running both in fullscreen and windowed mode without much of a difference there either. I do run with two monitors, I haven't tried disabling the second one yet, I've heard that does help out with some stability, is there any truth in that? Also, I remember something about crashes being more frequent if you have the radio playing when switching zones, true or false here? I -think- I have noticed a few more crashes with the radio on, though that might just be an illusion. Any help would be welcome!
