  1. Did you accidentally check the "Simple Actor" box in the Actor Window in CK? According to the Creation Kit Wiki, that check box disables facial animation. It's located underneath the ID and Name text boxes.
  2. Better Females by Bella? Yes. Though I don't know what besides lips and face paint is affected.
  3. Are you using high resolution texture mods for face features (lips, face paint, etc.)? If so, try using Bethesda's textures. It seems the CK is currently incapable of rendering high resolution tint maps for these features.
  4. Try changing the lip color with Bethesda's textures. I assume the CK is currently unable to render higher resolution lip or tattoo textures. Is there anything valuable in the esp/esm file you're having trouble with? If not, I suggest deleting it (or if it's a downloaded mod, replacing it) and starting over with a new esp.
  5. Have you downloaded any mods that enhance or otherwise change tattoo or lip textures? Also, can you see the change in lip color in the CK?
  6. To find Lydia in the CK, type HousecarlWhiterun in the 'Filter' box of the 'Object Window' and click 'All'. 1. Is this enchanted armor light? 2. Type FollowerHuntingBow in the 'Filter' box. Then check the 'Playable' box and click 'OK'. This should allow you to see the default follower bow in their inventory in-game. If it continues to respawn then find the quest 'DialogueFollower' in the 'Object Window', click the 'Quest Aliases' tab and double click the alias name 'Follower'. Then, delete the FollowerHuntingBow from the Alias Inventory and click 'OK'. That should remove the default follower bow from Lydia's (and any other follower's) inventory, though I haven't tested it. 3. Are you having a problem with the enchanted sword being equipped by the follower? 5. There are three choices in female housecarl voices: FemaleEvenToned(Lydia's default voice), FemaleYoungEager (Jordis' default voice), and FemaleCommander (Iona's default voice). While in the HousecarlWhiterun 'Actor' box, in the 'Traits' tab, change the 'Voice Type' to any of the above.
  7. I'll admit, I have limited experience with loading mods for FO3. I did it a few times, but that was always with the FOMM, etc. NV is new grounds for me, and I saw several mods I wanted to try. Anticipating headaches with trying to make sure the archiveinvalidation.txt file was done correctly, I opted for this method. With the .ini files edited as instructed above, and the bsa file in the data folder, I have a purple head/hands, and world/building textures are not loading correctly. World textures are being loaded randomly, or are purple as well. Copying my backup files back, and removing the bsa file restores my game. I have no other mods currently installed, preferring to do this step by step to ensure minimal conflicts. Any idea what I could be doing wrong here? Obviously this works for other people, so I know its me. This is what my Archives section looks like: SArchiveList=ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa SInvalidationFile= iRetainFilenameOffsetTable=1 iRetainFilenameStringTable=1 iRetainDirectoryStringTable=1 bCheckRuntimeCollisions=0 bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 bUseArchives=1 SArchiveList=ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa I also noticed that the list of files is different between the two sets of instructions. I tried combinations of the above, including removing the bottom SArchiveList. Removing the bottom SArchiveList just caused me to CTD. Try This, [Archive] SInvalidationFile=ArchiveInvalidation.txt iRetainFilenameOffsetTable=1 iRetainFilenameStringTable=1 iRetainDirectoryStringTable=1 bCheckRuntimeCollisions=0 bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 bUseArchives=1 SArchiveList=ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa, Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa I had the same problem you described until I edited the Archive section of the Fallout_default.ini file to the above.
