I deleted it and can't for the life of me remember what it was called. It's an alternate start but you start in a small room with a statue of Mara. You click on her after you make your character to choose how you want to start your game. After that you sleep in an empty bed and it spawns you in said Scenario. Does anyone know of the name / can link me? I tried to find it by typing in obvious things like "new", "Beginning", "start", and "Alternative / nate" but I can't find it. I wish there was a alternative start category for tag searches. (unless I somehow didn't see it) Just to clarify I have seen all the other ones and I don't like any of them. They are too one sided or too driven on playing some specified character, this one left everything open if I so choose and let me play the Mainquest without disabling anything. Thank you.

I re installed my Skyrim (screwed it up bad with mods) and when I went to mod it I couldn't launch SKSE because the new Script Extender has been updated to only work with the new Skyrim. As I'm sure most of you know the new Skyrim incorporates some rather unfriendly changes for mods. I'm not sure of them but I have read enough of it (something about load order) to know not to update my Skyrim so I can enjoy all the mods I like. My link It will install the older Script Extender for those who don't want to update to the newest Skyrim patch just yet and don't have the older one on their computer anymore.

I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to tackle adding some masks into Skyrim from Majora's Mask. I would image link but it is giving me grief but I was thinking of Ghot's remains as a mask, the pirate hat, and Majora's Mask a-long with any other one. Maybe even add stats like Illusion and Destruction to Majoras'. I am a huge fan of collecting in games then putting my collection up in my house. I am kinda disappointed by the Dragon Priests masks even after the mod to make them a little more unique looking. Design's are just same thing different colour. Thank you.

I can't see anything really coming out until the Construction Set is released. Then you will get things like beauty packs and reworked textures.

Something about getting cursed from Azura and being drove off / killed. Not sure why this Azura person was all butt hurt about them, though. I tried to google a fast answer but after skimming I'm seeing mostly a bunch of books you need to read in Morrowind. Possibly the books are in Skyrim but I haven't done any reading in the game, just hoarding.

I know it was requested but I seen a Tobuscus (sp perhaps) of AC: Revelations. That is actually more lore-friendly and sensible then some of the light armor in the game. So I would like to make a specific request as to which AC gear may be pretty cool to have in the game, please. Thank you so much Luke. Yeah I was looking at all the detail thinking someone would need probably a good month or more just getting it right. Figured I'd post it just in case someone does want to dedicate the time to a helmet even if it's just for themselves. Hopefully they post screens at-least if anyone does, lol. No use having your eyes go blood shot without appreciation.

Console command kill and resurrect a guy until you get what you want? Not even sure that would work fully. Hopefully you are talking for PC.

^ I stand very much so corrected. Only places I could think of were too close to other cities / towns. I like the feelings of sorta being on your own little territory.

Kinda like Feng Shui for Fallout? I would like this too it would make it nice when you go to place things down in your home. I am not use to the interact key to also be a picking up / moving key. Too familiar with "Z" and find myself shouting at objects in anger a-lot causing things to go flying across rooms. I'll get the hang of it.... one day. +1 for this mod.

CM companions. I like being able to gear my companions and have multiple following me. I also enjoy having them sit / eat / sleep / sandbox until I tell them to come with me again. I don't like entering command mode and having to wait for them to do something before exiting it because it will cancel their actions. Sorry if this has already been posted. I seen the thread and got kinda excited to voice this one, if anything I'm adding fuel to the companion fire? Heh.

The sword from Robin Hood (the movie with Russel Crowe) I really like the quote on it and it's pretty simplistic but nice. I'm sure someone can disable borders and add flat land somewhere around the game world. If anything the mod gets created and others decide to make places to build up a village. Hopefully someone gives this a shot.

I like that Idea but where would you place your settlement? Almost need some added flat open spaces outside the borders or something. Skyrim seems very much so full of hills and ridges and trees any decent spot is already taken. I like the idea though if I could I'd take that up. Hopefully someone at least tries if the construction kit ever comes out. Would be a nice pace from the hordes of nude body variants and clothing that is sure to be coming. I always wondered about it for Oblivion. Sort of a make your own Castle type deal by taking blue prints off other buildings.

TLDR; I'm complaining, Skyrim isn't that great to me but it's there when I'm bored nothing more or less from this game. I adventure, I see some cool things, then I stop playing for a day. Doesn't feel like an RPG much to me. (All IMO obviously) Skyrim doens't lag on my PC at all with high settings on everything. Computer is just one bought from Dell without even having all of the features available. Not sure the exact model but it's not brand new at all and was purchased with a budget in mind. I seen Bethesdas' name and didn't hype myself up. I expected more of an action type game and I expected something kinda shitty for computer. It is much better on console and I am speaking from experience. Everything flows smoother in terms of UI and even the game to an extent. However as far as RPG goes I will be sticking with Fallout 3 for Wasteland fun (I only crash once every 20mins now!) and Oblivion for the TES series simply because mods let me have all the gear I want and there is texture packs to make it not as ugly. Skyrim is there when I'm bored to be played in small intervals. Nothing more for me, that's just my personal take on the game. I don't find much enjoyment and have a somewhat small list of pet peeves with the game. Unfortunately in this day and age I expect improved versions of well done or already implemented RPG features. Especially in terms of UI, just make it look nicer don't go f*** with the whole thing when the old styles already work nicely. Never hurt to use popular features from other games, just keep the world unique to the game your making. Also, side note. The f*** is with these bows always shooting straight? It actually bugs the hell out of me when I am doing a good 200yard shot with a bow and it shoots straight. Even though I watch the arrow land right on the mob it doesn't do DMG. I'd rather them have the arrows drop instead of setting a set distance to them. This ain't Call of Duty, I want to judge my shot and make corrections.

I agree with you, Forty. I honestly feel like playing Oblivion until mods come out to change Skyrim. I have a copy now for PC seeing as I find myself getting pretty bored of the PS3 version. I feel like I will be flamed for this but I don't find the game so much an RPG as it is an Action / Adventure game. I don't find Archers too OP but I do find some things annoying like the troll and the damn Snow Saber Cat lurking on the hill to the Greybeards. That's one of the quests I get early into the game, come on!!!! I'm supposed to believe people bring supplies up that hill? What the hell does that person use as a weapon? I also dislike how I can't have pants as well as bracers + gloves on. I also want to complain about the Deer if you do bring out a patch. Elk is basically a prehistoric deer (I don't know the name) and the other "elk" is a f***in hairy White tail buck. The "deer" is a Caribou, and the only deer (or i guess "elk") skulls around are Mule Deer which are not even in the game. That brings me great frustration as you can see. I know it's supposedly a Role Playing Game, but I don't feel it as one. Lots of simple things could have been done better which over all would have improved the game. (Mostly in terms of UI and Companion interactions for me) I enjoy the game but I wish I didn't buy my Ps3 copy. =\ Anyways, these are just my personal opinions. I get there is die-hard fans out there who will defend this game to the death; I just don't feel the same and am let down by it. Even more so knowing that my specialization is going to mean nothing if I want to progress to top tier gear. I get I don't HAVE to play as a mage / thief / assassin / warrior / everything but the fact I'll be forced at some point to play as them all just to get top level, kills some immersion for me.

I'm just going to *censored* about somethings because that's what this has I guess turned into. Got it for PS3 seeing as this laptop is nothing short of s***. Had one freeze up which made me had to restart. However I am not bugged by it nor would I be shocked to see it happen again. I don't know, I see Bethesdas name on something and I go into it expecting crashing / freezing from my Fallout exp. (Played it on my old PC which was good, but I gave it to brother seeing as I moved out) Not to mention I get odd 30second-1min freezes sometimes and it doesn't even say anything like "Autosaving..." The UI bugs me and I wish I could see how my character looked. That's kinda essential to me with RPGs is having the option to have all the different item slots and see how your character looks. Maybe it's laziness but I like the convenience of the little model I can rotate on my screen. I didn't go into it with all that high of expectations just because of the company name to be honest. However it's not a s*** game and I honestly find it very entertaining. The issues I have I can not change so whatever. Considering the content I am given I am quite happy. I just hope they do improve and expand upon on it. Especially for the computer where there is so much more room to add old and new elements. I guess it's up to the mod community to save the day and do the companies job.

I have custom race installed and did everything I did last time (before my game turned unstable) and now my custom race characters have no hands. I had meshes for hands but the hands just turned up pink. If I go and delete the meshes (which i did to fix the hands for regular characters) then my hands simply just vanish. I can't find any hand mods either; and the small hands that comes with type3 really screws up the hands for females.

Be patient children. If the tools are released the modders will come. :wink: Oblivion had Crossbows, Guns, and hell, even a motorbike added to it. I'm sure we can look forward to improved versions for Skyrim. To those who will be getting it for console :hurr:

Sooooo is this just safe to say that there is restriction if you so choose to make it that way? >.< Yeah you can become all powerful but I personally stuck tightly to being a thief and didn't venture off. Set my own restrictions and seeing as how not everyone is like me I think it's fair to have the game the way it is. They can go and try out everything on one character I'm going to stick to specific rolls and specific goals for each character I make. Just like I do in Fallout. It's a video game, have fun your way! Except Fallout 3 damn game always crashes for me. Oh cool new loot! *CRASH!!!*
