  1. Animated clothes / My question is can you animate the clothes to move when idle, walking, running, swimming? Can i animate a cat tail to move when the NPC is not (side to side) instead of it just being stuck on them with glue (you know > static)! A cape that would wish wash would be awesome! and girl pros twin helicopters, this has been a hot topic! and can it be possible! (plus i know there would be no dynamic collusion so the animation has to stay away from the model)
  2. Do you need alpha channel for textures? what is it used for? Normals? do they need the alpha channel? also what is it used for? File-name_g.dds is that for glow?

  5. Edit >>>> Well this is not even a real fix... as i still don't know how the dll is involved in geck? Delete d3d9dll for less Crashes in GECK I don't know how or why! just now i can use F5 to update lights and configure the faces- now results in longer configuration without being crashed every 5min. Anyway GECK is still very buggy! AND i thought it used OpenGL??? do i do not know why it got improved after i deleted the d3d9dll file? Edit- now its every 30min! still i save my work after i do something.
  6. I imported some armor .nif into blender! fixed the nipple/ribs problem! then exported back to .nif but it does not work in game!? Nifscope showed the model just fine. And i know i must do something there! but that information is lost and google sucks. the forums dont have information to read. or did i export/import it wrong that it lost information and now it cant be used. (i must say i was trying to get 4 custom Amazing (speculation) models into the game! but i quit long ago since it was to hard to go through trial and error! I don't care just HELP and stop being so secretive- to fellow humblemoders that i love so much..........) >i did not believe i had some hate for this? anyway links with information that works will help me greatly!
  7. and if its modded textures re-download them, there is nothing you can do but find them again or recreate them! Unless it's the vinila then do what that guy said! ^^
  8. For Non-alpha Textures use DXT1 for a smaller file! For Normals Use DXT5! (There is no need for Textures to be DXT5 as it will take up useless space!:wallbash:) Note (i do not know that if these files go directly to the video memory, but if they do! then ill request for all Nexus people do this! as some people don't have enough video memory space to run at full texture without resorting to use the files smaller mip-maps in the .DDS) Or that i want to download 1gb of textures and find it could fit into half the size-using DXT1 for textures. >Normals stay with DXT5:happy: S3TC Format Comparison (Wikipedia Reference) DXT1 1-bit Alpha / Opaque >8:1 ratio / 6:1 >Simple non-alpha DXT5 Interpolated alpha> 4:1 ratio >Gradient alpha >of you do not wish to use DXT1 look for DXT3 as an alternative.   9. You have the Fallout 3 Geck inside the Fallout NV folder! It will ignore those files and search for the fallout 3 dir and use that! Download the FALLOUT NV GECK! and install into the NV dir! (it's on the same page as the fallout3 geck.... it was hard for me to find it so this is not your fault or stupidity -badly located download link)
  10. I remember the FO3 Geck v1.5 lights- updates- real-time. (F5 Does not work for me. i have to select the cell, bring up the edit window and see the results only for that cell - then it vanishes when i close the cells window. Not good at all)
  11. Does not work, I got to keep exiting and loading it up again to see whats happening. Fallout 3 Geck never had this problem. I can no longer can create a mood for my levels.
