Thanks for all the posters here. I've started the STEP project install and currently halfway through. Possibly one of the longest "installations" I've ever done. So much to download, patch, configure, and tweak... I love it all though.

I made a thread in the New section, but for quick background, I finished building my first computer of 9 years after graduating from grad school and getting a real job. Haven't PC gamed almost at all during that time. Essentially new to PC gaming, but have heard great things about Skyrim, and joined this community to find out more about this game, as well to customize my experience to a beautiful, immersive, and engaging one There are a ton of mods out there, and I just have no idea where to start. Someone linked the 25 most endorsed mods, but it seemed more of a list, rather than a cohesive set of mods that are compatible with each other.. Just got my first real job after grad school (engineering major), and decided to build the computer of my dreams. The last computer I built was in high school, so this was long overdue for me. Ended up building this guy: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/NZkT99 Skyrim is absolutely my first foray into PC gaming in almost a decade, and I'm excited to dive in. Joined because I'd like to customize my Skyrim experience to be as immersive as possible. Also, I just want some eyecandy to look at, really take advantage of the Crossfire. My other interests include hydroponics, mechanical keyboards, and embedded electronics.
