  1. Request for a mod to disable the "BOOM" noise when you open and close a menu. I'm starting to notice it constantly now and it's driving me nuts!

    Thank you!!!

    EDIT: I'm sorry, I didn't put the actual request in the title. I realised the second I pressed post. I'm an idiot :(

  2. Is there an option that I have maybe missed in SkyUI or if not, a mod that places the slider at 0 instead of the highest number of items in the "How many?" window when selecting an item in the merchants inventory? Or maybe there's an option somewhere else that does this and I'm just an idiot?

    Thanks!

  3. For anyone interested I sorted it.

    In "hud_main_menu.xml" (on my system, it's on installation path D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion\Data\menus\main), search for and change the following:

    <text name="hudmain_region">
    <x>
    <!-- <copy src="screen()" trait="width" />
    <sub src="me()" trait="width" />
    <div>2</div> -->
    <copy src="screen()" trait="width" />
    <add src="me()" trait="width" /> <!-- compensate for right-alignment -->
    <div>0</div>
    </x>
    <y>
    Change number between <div> <div> to zero, as shown. This will disable the location pop up.
  4. Does anyone know of a mod that will disable the notification text at the top of the screen that fades in when you enter a location?

    Or alternatively, if someone is able to point me in the right direction of any files I could edit to achieve it, that would be great too!

    I've looked through all the mods in the User Interface category and couldn't see anything that did this.

    Thanks :)

  5. It's kinda awesome that you mod so many games :smile: We did increase the total from 8 to 12 in the last redesign of the header. Perhaps, if it's highly requested, we might be able to increase it again next time we look at the header design.

    Thanks for the reply Mike, unfortunately I think I might be in the minority of modding so many games at once, but if anyone else sees this and wants more games displayed in the header, MAKE YOURSELVES KNOWN!! ...ahem...

  6. Hey there, are there any plans to increase the limit from 12 items in your favourites menu (My Games)? Maybe still have the view limited to a single line but have it scrollable, or a numbered page list above it perhaps? Or is this something that has been discussed but isn't feasible for whatever reason?

    It is also entirely possible that I'm missing an option to increase it in the settings and I'm just an idiot :/

    Thanks I might check it out, it's only a few quid on sale on Steam and GOG, and people seem to think it's okay!
  8. Hi,

    Just a request for a mod to disable the radar. Alternatively, if someone could gently shove me in the right direction regarding Frosty Editor, that would be great too! I feel like I have located the correct file in Frosty (UI/UIComponents/UIRadarComp) but I cannot change any of the listed parameters within the file ("Visability" etc. are listed, but cannot be turned on/off for example).

    Anyway, thanks for reading :)

  9. Mod request/some advice: A mod to disable the eye adaptation/auto exposure (when you go from a dark area to a light are and vice versa, and the light gradually gets lighter or darker to the correct level). It's a known bug that it still happens when you press the pause button and it's driving me nuts on Voeld because I like to have a minimal HUD and so use the map a lot. When you come back out of pause the screen is really dark for 10 seconds until it gradually fades up to the correct brightness :(

    Alternatively, if anyone could point me in the right direction in Frosty Editor that would be great too. I'm just about finding my way around it changing a few UI and HUD bits and bobs, but something like this I'd need a bit of a pointer I think!
