Anyone have ideas for this? There is already a ninja throwing weapons mod but the throwing weapons use melee skill so its too easy to hit people. I'd like to see ninja swords (or katana), clothes, masks and other things.

Mmm tacos. I just wish I knew what the items number was for the console commands so I can just give it to myself. I also wish the guy had said what you need to repair the sword with.

Figured it out finally. Needed to take the folders from this mod that were labeled "meshes" and "textures" and take them out of the mod folder and put those folders directly into the data folder. Everything works now including another mod that adds ninja stars and kunai as throwing weapons. So I'm fairly ninja'ed out now with the Chinese Stealth armor. I'd love a stealth armor with no helmet OR a simple reskin of the stealth armor to look like ninja clothes.

Anyone working on a ninja mod? I'd love to see clothes,swords, throwing stars and possible perks. For clothes I'd love to see a black suit of the NCR facewrap armor but NOT as a costume for NCR so you wouldn't get the message that your dressed up as a NCR guy. Give it better DT and maybe a +5 stealth? Sword perhaps someone could either make their own or just re-skin the machete and make it look like a ninja sword?

It doesn't help at all and noone complained about the error I am having. I don't get why it's not working for me. I wish I knew how to use the GECK because I have great ideas that I don't see anyone else doing so far.

Can anyone help or not? None of the suggestions work. There were NO instructions on how to install the mod at all. Can't anyone list a step by step thing I should try? I'd really like to have that sword for my game.

But I did extract to that folder and the item is not showing up how it should in the game. I do have NVMM and the item is still not working correctly. It is the Six String Samurai Mod from New Vegas Nexus.

The path is the data structure of the meshes and textures of the mod. Go to the data directory(its in your steam/steamapps/common/fallout new vegas/data folder) and check if the files are in the correct location. Helps a lot if you have the geck to check what path the mod uses. In using mods for any bethesda game i suggest a basic knowledge of how the construction set works if only for this purpose. nvmm is an excellent tool to manage mods. you can download it in here in nexus its under utilities i think But how would I know where they even go? I downloaded it from Nexus and there were ZERO instructions on where it goes. It has a ESP file and I kinda know where that goes but the weapon is still showing up as a exclamation point.

So it could just get deleted again? No thanks. Put it back I say.

It has the meshes btw, I just don't know where to put them. How do I toggle this archive thing and what is NVMM?

Wut? I have no idea what you just said. I'm a user of mods, not a creator of them. I have no clue how to check "path" or any of that.

Rather just have a weapon that looks like your shooting two guns or swinging two swords but it just does more damage but perhaps is less accurate. Don't need an actual two attacks for me.

So can anyone do this?

I installed the Six String Samurai Mod and the sword is showing up as a giant exclamation point with some kind of red box around it. What is wrong and how do I fix this?

Is there any way to get some items, weapons or armor from Fallout 3 into New Vegas? I'd really like the Samurai armor and samurai sword for example. Also, I tried to install a mod called six string samurai and the sword shows up as a bunch of red blocks or something. What is wrong and how do I fix it?
