Is Kvatch Arena a part of FCOM or Kvatch Rebuilt? I have never came across this before.

Setting up a new oblivion for next weekend since i finally got a system that will hopefully handle mods. Glad to see the Beta is here now been looking forward to it. is it worth me plaything through the beta or would it be too incompatible with other big mods (UL,FCOM) at this stage.

I think it was said to be out on the 31st. I hope so.. I never got very far in the last one so am stuck between download the old version or waiting for the new one since the old one has a majority or patches/compatible new start mods out for it. Zaldiir said the new one wont be compatible with the old version either as this is more of a remade version then a update.

Years of mod development. I re installed recently & had a quick play of vanilla & realised how much the mods actually do for this game.

Basically I'm used to using oblivion with wrye bash. With oblivion you run boss, right click on the bashed Patch & select rebuild patch & it imports all the info from the Boss Log & creates the patch. However, with Wyre Flash all that happens is it comes up deactivate these mods for merging into the patch then none of the settings have been imported from the boss log. Is there a way to do this or will I have to go through the log & attempt to do it manually for the first time?

Basically I'm one of those people who hate it when there is no voice acting at all (I don't mind part voice acted as long as the main bits are voiced) & I'm looking for voice acted mods to add (old or new) to my game. So far I have; The Elder Council, Tears Of A Fiend & Lost Spires Any recommendations please.

First thing I did was power though the main quests & then was like damm.. I should of done everything else first. Then I found mods & started again :D

Some good points in this thread but its hard to read it all cuz people are making a sentence into an essay. Everyone has got to start somewhere so as long as they improve/update problems with their mods then they are learning & doing something constructive (even if the mod is not up to par). I don't like mods that are buggy/don't work properly either but there is one simple thing to do once spot a mod has problems; leave feedback & deactivate the mod until its fixed (if it gets fixed). If the author has many mods like this just avoid their mods.

unique landscapes & better cites with the 4 CUO cities, there are also loads of patches for these two mods & they really do make the game a better place

Colourwheels Sexy Stock Armor and Clothing Replacer is good for skimpy clothes but personally I prefer the one Nephenee13 said as it fits into oblivion much better. yuravica has made some sexy armour/cloth replaces which look really nice. FLY Female Armors Remodel Replacer For HGEC with BBB & FLY Female Robe Remodel Replacers Compilation. Problem is there is compatible issues between these mods, it is possible to mix & match but this can & probable will cause problems.

Really AEVWD will make the distance look better but at the cost of a bit of performance. I would use Weather - All Natural for real lights too it makes light sources so much better, it has a weather mod build into it as well but you don't have to use that part. EDIT; opps, seen you added Really AEVED already but still worth trying Weather - All Natural

I didn't play oblivion until a year after it release either but I will be sticking with oblivion too for the same reasons as you (I have done main quest tho, but not all other quests).

I don't know where you are getting this idea from but defragmenting is always the best answer with keeping hard drive performance at a maximum. It prevents hard drive thrashing by moving files together that have been split up across the hard drive. I think you are getting confused with you shouldn't delete loads of stuff & then install software/adding loads of data before defragmenting as this causes fragmentation as the data then goes in the gaps where the data was removed from on the hard drive.

Thank you this is along the lines of what I was looking for, tyvm. Installing it now & hoping its compatible with the mods I use. Maybe at some point in the future I will attempt at learning to make mods but currently don't know how. If I do ever decide to pick it up this would be the first I did.

Looking for a sword that's stuck in a stone to pull out with some sort of requirements (stats, level, quest, ect) to be able to pull it out from the stone. Its a bit of a cliché but I like the idea & I haven't seen a mod like this so thought would ask here if there is one.

ChaseCameraMod might be something like what you're looking for. The description of the mod;

Unique Landscapes, Better Cities & New Roads and Bridges for me is a must, They make the scenery a lot better looking & less repetitive & come with so many compatibility patches. FCOM is amazing but hits my computer really hard so i just use OOO+MMM & there is an awesome guide for installing it here. & here is a nice quest list called TOQL.

nope I made sure everything was right. since it's not working for me i have been using fps Poly Gone Ext, in this mod there is a fix for Intel chipsets which i need so im guessing it could be a problem with my pc running PyFFi-ed meshes.
