Overall I enjoyed the DLC. My three gripes with it though where the inability to become a werebear, inability to pick up Hrothmunds axe (one of the coolest mesh and texture i've seen in vanilla skyrim) and no spears for the player. However this mod made Hrothmunds axe playable, and temperable Axe of Hrothmund and this mod so far has the best potential of the current werebear mods Werebear Transformation as for the spears no one has made anything yet, so i was giving it a go, but im stuck., I extracted the spear animations from the bsa and put them in my skyrim/data/meshes/actors/character/animations so they would show up under usable animations for the player in the creation kit. but i see no way to apply these animations to the riekling spear, that would be usable for the player.

this thread is a repeat of this thread http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/855914-urgent-help-needed-as-many-people-as-possible/ reposting the same thing under a slightly different title, doesn't get you more replies. it gets you less since people are annoyed that you keep asking the same thing in new threads. I get you need input, but on the old thread there are several good replies to your inquires that should be enough for your assignment.

Damn you, Bethesda. Why would you do this?
modder3434 replied to Relativelybest's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
The reviews i've read have said 10-12 hours. in terms of how long the DLC is , is subjective to how fast you play thru it, you play style (sneaking vs. charging in), and whether or not you actually attempt to find everything the plugin has to offer. -
Take everything read on the internet with a large dose of salt.

nothing wrong with being disappointed or reserving the right to be. However if you post a topic like this you will get replies that: - agree with what you said - don't agree with what was said - extreme left forum users who will defend you right to complain/ discuss etc. to the bitter end - extreme right forum users who don't agree with what was said and will go to great links to prove you wrong no matter what you post about, it could be about how great the sun is, and someone will argue that the sun causes skin cancer. in four words: Welcome to the internet -
what mods are you using? it could be affecting dialogue depending on what the mod is supposed to do and what the author possibly messed with while creating it. have you tried reverting to a previous save and trying again? the devil is in the details, so is the solution

Any good bow/crossbow mods out there
modder3434 replied to stars2heaven's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Convient Crossbows adds crossbows to leveld list, only bandits and guards etc. -
I was nervous as hell. Didn't know what to expect from the community in terms of feedback and endorsements. my worst fear was creating and uploading a mod that no one wanted to use, and i was nervous about competing with the big name mod authors. now i just make what i want to make, don't promise things i can't deliver and just keep on modding.

Urgent Help Needed! As many people as possible
modder3434 replied to Chewing123's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
1. I had a lot of fun with Skyrim so far, but... I'd say the most fun thing to do is to reach a ceasefire with the Stormcloaks ans the Empire for thje Main Quest. You can't please anybody, no matter how you do it someone is always bitching about as you leave. 2. Can't say specifically what quest or area was the hardest, but when i was playing for the first time, at level 3 i ventured into a falmer cave thinking i was all that. I got my clock cleaned bad. 3. when the guards say "Let me guess. someone stole your sweetroll" in that mocking tone, however if someone had taken their sweetroll, i know it wouldn't be funny to them. 4. Skyrim and the TES games as a whole provide various ways to do things, have a massive world to explore and make it where each time you play something different happens to make it a unique experience, compared to doing the same things on replayed levels on call of duty -
Game of Thrones Adoption Mod for Skyrim V3 the best mod for a total ASOIAF experience, until the mod linked above is completed.

The First Screenshots of the DLC Dragonborn
modder3434 replied to daventry's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
technically Dawnguard had two crossbows, Steel and Dwarven. Each with two types, Standard crossbow or enhanced crossbow that ignored armor. However that wasn't a problem since modders could make models for the other types of materials, the issue from the begining was making animations for that weapon. even if we get only one type of spear in Dragonborn, that the goblin things have, yet it is fully animated the waya spear ahould be, then it will be no problem to use some of the current spear models on the nexus to behave as they should. -
Supernatural Two bros go and kill a whole bunch of stuff that goes bite in the night. pretty awesome, can't really do it justice in a description, just load up netflix and watch.

They probably won't bring back spell creation, like it was. The closet thing you'll get from Bethesda is that combining spells to make new ones as shown in thier game jam video. which will probably be in this DLC or the next one, im more convinced then ever that the game jam was nothing more then a giant early showing of what they where going to add in the game via DLC. lol that guy. He must wake up in a sweat at night thinking about spell creation. Im pretty sure there is a reference to it in every post he makes about skyrim. - "Nice mod, but you should have added spell creation - "SPEARs AND DRAGON MOUNTS AND A NEW LANDMASS! BUT I WANTED SPELL CREATION if they add it then they add it, but i mean come on, lets just [breath in] [breath out] What's so important about spell creation? I mean, it was cool in Oblivion, but once they tweaked magic, I didn't even miss it. Same here. If he sees this we'll get a maths lesson :ohdear: THE HORROR! the way he was arguing the math part didn't agree with my digestion

Tips on playing a vampire hunter while being a vampire
modder3434 replied to Kyriptonite's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
maybe get a good scriptor to let your vamp character feed on other vampires, kind of like Mikeal in TVD (yea i watch it :armscrossed: so sue me) and only feed from the dead and spare the innocent, since you are in touch with your humanity. -
i like the concept of the games in the game, but not poker or dice. maybe some good ol mortal kombat style games TEST YOUR MIGHT! and TEST YOUR SIGHT! that would be awesome

okay, get rid of the unofficial patch, they are a great effort and idea, but at times they can cause more problems then they solve. If that doesn't work, try seeing if the mod authors have made an update for patch 1.8. or you could get rid of a couple dozen mods, since at about 60 mods skyrim begins to have issues, and its potential to mess up is increased 10 fold. and as a last resort revert to 1.7
-
I'm not seeing anything with your mods, nothing should casue the issues your having. If your game isn't misreading what i sent, then 1.8 doesn't like Dawnguard too much, and im not sure what you can do. I feel stupid for asking this but do you have skse? If you do try creating a shortcut of it an use that to start your game, and if you truly have 1.8 then get the new version of skske and install it
-
revert to patch 1.7, i have a file you could try, if you don't have a backup of your own.
-
earlier when you said you uninstalled that mod that crashed your game, did you complety remove every trace of it from your Skyrim/Data folder? not sure why the file i sent you isn't working. did you try updating your remaining mods new versions mod authors have released for 1.8?
-
did you place them in tthe right area? into the data file, and replace the orginals? I know that they are 1.7, try playing the game, to see if it fixed your problem
-
some of those mods, that add animation will ned to be updated, which the mod authors are working on, but the real problem is probaly 1.8 it messes up a lot of the attack animations and causes freezes and ctds, so revert to 1.7 if possible. If you don't have a back up go to my profile and email me, i'll send you my back up copy of skyrim 1.7, the skyrim.esm and the update.esm
-
THe problem started when I downloaded FNIS. I immediately deleted the mod, and because I downloaded it manually, I also deleted all files associated with it but the problem still persists. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you help me revert to 1.7? sure, go to my profile and look for my email, send me an email and i'll send you my back up for the 1.7 game, the Skyrim.esm and the update.esm
