  1. ok i agree with, and i should have stated, that i'm all for reporting bugs, but as your yourself have said reporting it and being polite does nothing. Neither does excessive beating of the problem, which is what i was mainly getting at previously. and yes i am upset too with the delay in fixing the major bugs still prevalent, but i don't get ....flustered about it sense their is nothing i can do to speed up the rate at which Bethesda patches the game. crossing fingers that patch 1.8 fixes some bugs, but hope was never my strong suit.
  2. Don't have the budget? Don't make me laugh any harder. They are a multi million dollar outfit. They have that budget and THAT is why people are losing patience with them. They released a flawed as heck product just to comply with an eye catching release date. They took ages to fix the PS3 thing. They pumped out DLC rather than fixing bugs and then when the DLC lobbed us in a real game breaker, they have still done nothing three months down the line...except MORE DLC. The attitude of some gamers is frankly too supine. I simply will never buy another Bethesda game at release, or if I do, at least not play it until the bug reports roll in and see if they get fixed. Bethesda ARE "doing an Activision" and that is the problem. are you pushig this "fix the damn game Bugthesda" wagon hard, because you were just as taken back by the bugs as the rest of us where? Bitching (excessive ranting, passionate debating, and emotional discussion) in general does no good, and it won't make Bethesda work any faster on making patches. The only way to make the patches move along faster is if you went and got employed by Bethesda to fix Skyrim's bugs, and that wouldn't work since once your thier employee your on their schedule now.
  3. this might be of interest to you... his armor pack has several good armors that are femine yet non nude. the one called "Lady Bulwark" is similar to this armor and might work for you. here is the link My link

  5. When did I ever say that Skyrim has no bugs? Or that the bugs it does have are in no way game breaking? Ohh wait, never, the game is buggy, and I never denied that. What I do deny is the incessant whining of people who have zero idea of what it takes to develop a game. You really think the developers at Bethesda sit there and go "WELP BUGS ARE HERE BUT LETS IGNORE DEM!"? No, Bethesda doesn't fix all the bugs because they simply cant, they don't have the budget to, and in games like Skyrim, games that have millions of possible interactions, the number of bugs will be far greater then any other game, and many of those bugs will have to remain unfixable. In a perfect world where money and time don't exist, Bethesda would fix all the bugs, but this isn't a perfect world, and we should be thankful Bethesda let modders do what they could not. And I defend Bethesda because I'm tired of seeing whiny, entitled, ****** constantly complain about things they either have no understanding of, or chose willingly to not understand, and have this entitled belief of "Bethesda should do everything I want when I want it", and "Bethesda not fixing every single bug is outrageous". It's that sort of attitude that makes me hate calling myself a gamer nowadays. We should be glad Bethesda has fixed what they did, and we should be even more glad that Bethesda lets modders make the unofficial patches, If any other company made Skyrim, with as many bugs, like Activison, we would see 1 patch, then they would be all working on Elder Scrolls 6, and there would be no mods, so all the other bugs would NEVER get fixed. The attitude of gamers nowadays is frankly revolting. I have to agree with sajuukkhar9000 here. Yes Skyrim is buggy, and yes it can seem like Bethesda ignores it, but the fact remains that in a game on this scale (Including all other TES games and the new Fallouts) there will be errors, and some people will have more errors then others do to their individual systems, method of installation, and tweaks they have personally made. Bethesda does care about the people who buy their product, which is why they make patches, which have to cover certain bugs that the majority of the gamers have experienced. They could stop there, but they also give us the tools to make and fix things that they don't have the luxury and time to do. If Bethesda followed your battle plan ginnyfizz then they would spend all their time trying to conceive every possible thing that can go wrong with the game, then they wouldn't be able to make and distribute more content for the game which adds to the experience (although like Hearthfire some of it is more geared at console players then PC)
  6. I'm working on a adventure quest mod for Skyrim. Working Title is, The Old Ways: An Adventure Plugin for Skyrim What i would like to know is what do you in the community (weather a fellow modder or just someone who signed up for a bunch of mods) look for when browsing quest mods? Any and all comments, opinions and concerns are appreciated. This thread is to ensure that when I release my mod it is up to your (the community's) standards for an enjoyable adventure experience.
  7. "They are not the same, or close if you RP. Which we've already proven with math. Do people not stick to their builds, or what? " a lot of gamers don' want to have to start all the way over if they mess up, but a chunk do like the option to change on the fly, and some are just too impulsive to stick with anyrthing for too long.
  8. That was one of the best DLC, but the Shivering Isles takes the cake in size, content, and storytelling. All Hail the MadGod!
  9. You are aware that pretty much =/= all. And no having more systems does not make your character more diverse. having three systems =/= more diversity then two systems if one or more of the 3 systems doesn't contribute to character diversity, and indeed, makes characters more similar. You are ignoring how the attribute system actually works and just saying there are three systems thus it is more complex. 1 + 1 + 1 is not greater then 1 + 1 is two of those three 1's are negatives. your math is falwed Actually you are ignoring how it worked, since at first you tried to say it made them all the same, then admitted that it didnt. Get your argument straight and come back, since now anything you try to say is taken with a grain of salt. Math has already proven you wrong 3>2. Attributes, skills and perks>just skills and perks. Get over it. If you were to take the attributes away from Fallout, let's say, would there be more or less diversity? Common sense gives the answer, and it is less. ok, my turn to try some math.. no one is saying 2 is greater then 3, since it is a proven fact that 3>2. What this argument really is about is the diversity betwen Oblivion and Skyrim. What makes one game more diverse then the other?, well that is an opinon and its just like a**holes, everyone has one. While yes Oblivion has three systems, one is redundent, the skills tie into the attributes. Is like the Marines, they mask around as a seperate branch, but they fall under the Department of the Navy. Then we are back to 2 systems per game, 2=2 fact. Based on that Skyrim has more diversity
  10. i just fell out of my chair laughing! well played sir!
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibfxC9O8Fmo and to get this topis back on point.... I like the new combat system with the perks to decap and the kill moves

  13. If you actually read what I had said, I specifically said that without power gaming, I only maxed all of my important attributes, and got the others to mid-high 80's, so unless you counting mid-high 80 as maxed, I don't see where you are getting your argument from. And yes, I can argue against math, when the math you are using is wrong, and nonsensical. Actually, no almost one remembers The Champion of Cyrod by Skyrim's time, even in the Elder scrolls books the Infernal City, and Lord of souls, set only 40 years after Oblivion people only remember that some guy went into the Oblivion gates and closed then, your name and history have been lost to everyone. ok, i didn't mean that they remembered your name and race (although they might remember what you look like, since you have that statue in Bruma), just that someone took it upon them self to ".. close shut the jaws of Oblivion"
  14. I must agree with this sentiment. -The Nerevarine could only be you because only you were born under a very specific set of circumstances. -The Dovahkiin could only be you because only you have the dragonblood, the ability to learn shots super fast, and indeed the only one with the power to harm Alduin. -The Champion of Cyrodiil could have been ANYONE, nothing you do has some sort of divine importance or needing some specific power that only you have to achieve My point exactly. Divine whims aside, there's nothing special about the Champion of Cyrodiil. except for the fact that the Champion of Cyrodill is still remembered 200 years after the fact. Also while Martin was the key to the story, you the player were the lock. Martin needed more then just a "muscle guy" or "servent". He needed a reliable, skilled, intelligent, and sensible second in command if you will. There have been many great leaders, but behind each great leader is a great follower, who the leader can fully count on in good times and bad.
  15. Actually no it didnt, at all. If you RPed and stuck to your build you never maxed out all attributes. Mathematically impossible. Had over 200 builds in Ob alone, not one had maxed attributes. Attributes, skills and perks is more variables than just skills and perks. It's already known and proven there was more diversity in attributes (more variables). More simple math really. Not to mention a character with the same perks and skill in Sky, does the same anyway, which usually ends up happening when you have a lot of builds, or a overlapping skill. So yeah, Attributes skills and perks>just skills and perks. There was nothing wrong with attributes, just people that didn't RP and people that parrot Bethesda's silly PR. It's a known fact that removing it removes more variables and by extension diversity, again more simple math for anybody that can count to 100. Nothing can change the simple math of 3>2. I'd have to wonder if these people even played the old games. Speaking as one who does play the old games, i have to say Skyrim was my favorite way to level and diversify my character. I honestly found the leveling in previous ES games to be more of a chore then anything, and if you started off on the warrior path, and got to level 20 and wanted to indulge in magic, it was a pain. Yes it is math based and it is more of a tradional RPG then Skyrim. With that being said if i want to add up my character's attributes and make it a giant numbers game, i'll go and play Dungeons and Dragons.
  16. I dont really hate any of the races, but i've had enough run ins with horrible characters, that when i see an Altmer i immediately reach for my axe....
  17. I miss the; - age slider - Guild Quests - a large city ( Solitude is a nice size, but i mean imperial city big) - the begger's voice changing between lines ( not really but still it made you wonder if they where really beggers or pretenders) - spears - mix and match armor -dressing my character in the menu and being able to see it all equipped before exiting the menu
  18. Sad, but true. Still, I think that Imperial City itself would be enough, for me at least; I'd love to see how the city and its surroundings had changed after the Great War and how much of widely understood "war scars" can still be seen on the land and in the people, if any. Revisiting Bruma - as a city closest to Cyrodiil-Skyrim border - wouldn't hurt also. I really think they (Bethesda) should make some kind of Cyrodiil DLC one day. I personally wouldn't mind if TES:VI was the Imperial City, scaled to the size of Skyrim. But that will never happen. :( that might be fun for a little but. but after a while would get quite dull. All city and no country? No dungeons and caves and ruins etc. No wildlife of any sort really or creatures ( goblins, linchs, giants, Haggravens, spriggans etc) that would defeat the slogan of the elder scroll games " live another life in another world"
  19. Which had nothing to do with attributes and everything to do with level scaling. Getting rid of attributes just got rid of more customization, diversity and individuality for RPs. Whatever small improvements Skyrim made here and there (mostly stuff from previous games like mounted combat), they dumbed down too much for it to really matter. Magic is a complete joke in Skyrim and the worst it has ever been. We got less of everything when it came to magic. comparing the vanilla spells of Oblivion and Skyrim ( not including Morrowind, never played a magical character there) they are pretty similar in terms of variety and damage output (just better visuals in skyrim). I'm pretty sure the only reason you say magic sucks in skyrim is that they took out the option to create your own spells ingame like in oblivion. Ive said it in another post and i'll repeat: Each of the three games (Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim) had thier own pros and cons unique to that game, which is why i still play all three. They are the same yet different, not only in terms of gameplay, but also environment and feel. The only thing you can say truthfully about all three is that they all are massive worlds that are fun to explore and all three have modding tools.
  20. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3829 You can also use the DD config menu to change the stats for other enemies. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9494 Doesn't kick in until You've done a good enough job pissing off the main two factions. You can use console commands to make both sides hostile to you. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9694 Large variety of monsters, with special face R@ping abilities. also needed for this http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18997, don't forget to download hardcore esp. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10037 Rebalancing the game. ((More often than not, rebalancing in the favor of your opponents.)) The trick to this one is to not use ASIS with it, so that you're the only one being negatively impacted by the new tweaks. Now set to master difficulty on a new game. Boom, Instant hell on earth. hell on earth is an understatement with all of these installed
  21. Dovahkiin, as the Lord of the Court, Serana as my "Lady". can't speak for serana's mom, left her in the soul carin, never told here Harkon is dead.
  22. in Parth's defense, we didn't see him commit these atrocities (not saying they didn't happen) and that we only have the word of the blades really pushing for his death. now he should be held accountable for his crimes, but he seems to have done a pretty good job of correcting his mistakes himself, by balancing his bad actions with good ones. besides all the stuff said previously on my post, we only know for fact, but we have seen Parth doing, and what I've seen him do is assist me and help defeat his brother, and provide thought provoking questions and give good advice. to me he is the Yoda for the Dragonborn as for sajuukar9000, i highly doubt you want justice for these past atrocities, because you truly love justice, i think you just don't like the dragons in general and seek every reason to exterminate them. sometimes an eye for an eye is not the way to go.
  23. was too lazy to go back and find her again.. let the women rot, she locked up her daughter for centuries. payback is a b*****
  24. "A Tragedy in Black" learned my lesson, never accept a gift freely from a summoned creature.
  25. Enjoy and Mod them all. Each game has what things they did great and things they fell short on. Skyrim - better engine, better default graphics, better default combat and epic landscape Oblivion- (my first ES game) had that traditional style of rpgs with pen and paper, best guild quest such as the DB, and the TG compared to Skyrim Fallout 3- best atmosphere of the two newer fallouts, felt more gritty and survival orientated, had as sense of anarchy. Fallout New Vegas- props for having the dancing hooker straight out of the box, interesting warring factions, better default companion system with quests
