It is true that most people can't be bothered to endorse, and I myself am guilty of this , lately I've gotten better at it. and I've even gone back and endorsed some mods from a long time ago. - (just a side note to the above text) The more I mod and post a file for download the more I came to realize what the endorsements are all about. With that being said, if all the users modded, even if they didn't post in on Nexus, then they would be better at endorsing the mods they enjoy Regarding the comments over endorsements, I prefer both but if i could only get one I'd rather have someone comment and say "Thank You" since it seems more personal then a tally of how many people endose it, but that just might be me.

Tell us about your character
modder3434 replied to SoggyWaffle's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Spoilers
Name: Ben Race: White Male (formerly), now a Ghoul ( for 50 years) Gender: Male Combat: Sniping with a combination of Mines and Grenades Skills: Guns, Explosives, Lockpicking, Repair, and Speech (Ben is quite the smooth talker) Likes: sniping, looting, exploring whiskey and looking at/ pursuing the dames of the wasteland Dislikes: Bigots, Legion, NCR, Omertas, Fiends, and Radscorpins Companions: Cass, Veronica, and Willow (Ben likes Eyecandy) Goal: Live Free or Die Hard -
Which ending do you usually go for and why?
modder3434 replied to Dan3345's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Spoilers
I always go for the YesMan path. freedom for the whole wasteland to do with what they will, and how they choose. When watching the ending, all the little people, the smaller settlements and all, is what matters. Not some place to waste money or a any of the three versions of the Old World that tryed to gained foothold. Freedom now and Freedom Forever! -
Wasn't Dead Money a horrible DLC?
modder3434 replied to nukafish's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Spoilers
Dead Money was a life lesson, a metaphor, a homily that was all about "letting go". It was designed as such that you couldn't get all the loot and get out. You had to learn to just walk away which is what Father Elijah couldn't & wouldn't do and thus it was his doom. Sure there are ways in which you can cheat or fix it so you get the gold but that misses the point of the story. Dean had to let go of his obsession of being able to rip off Sinclair, Dog/God needed to let go of their war with one another and merge into a new being while Christine needed to let go of her need for vengeance on Elijah and let the courier deal with him. Yes the radios were annoying and the cloud constantly draining you was also testing but for my money that added to the whole experience, not detracted from it. What was annoying was having God mutter constantly about ripping my arm off to get the pipboy. I felt that was over the top and he lived only because if I killed him I'd die as well. I'd rate it as the 2nd best in the series of DLC's with Old World Blues being the best, Lonesome Road coming in 3rd and Honest Hearts for the least enjoyable of all the DLC's. well said. I liked that about the DLC too, except i made sure to grab at east two of the gold bars for all the damn annoyances to took to get to the Vault. -
Neither both are bad/evil/poor choice for the area in thier own ways. the legion for oblivious reasons ( although i really like the whole roman theme) the NCR because its similar to governments today and we all know how corrupt and bad they can be. Independence for Everyone, A Free and Independent New Vegas is the only way to go
-
I helped the NCR on my first playthrough  don't judge me....

They wanted to give him a unique look, he has been traveling ans exposed to all kinds of ungodly irradiation and other junk so he could need help breathing. No real reason. you can remove his mask using the console but there is no point. His face is alright ,but it is not animated at all, no lipsync or nothing. Most likely it was a design choice. nothing more, nothing less

-Brotherhood? no, they only care about electronics and they push people around to get it. -Omertas amd the White Glove Society need to be killed, so no - I like the tranquility of Goodsprings, since its a western style town, everybody is happy and lives, so something like Goodsprings, where everybody takes care of each other, trade with other small groups etc. however that would not work for the whole of the mohjave - the only solution would be have a combination of the Khans, Chairman, Kings, Followers and Boomers The Chairmen run the strip and keep it open for business just like Mr.House did. The Kings police and control Freeside to become a better place. The Followers help freeside, and assit the kings khans, and boomers in medical issues (acting as the medical corp), The Khans act as the infantry and rangers of the land protecting the other small towns or at least assisting them without imposing their will or anything (like the NCR) The Boomers provide air support, artillery support and help keep the Armed Forces of New Vegas ( AFNV) armed and ready for battle. personally if all this happened though, in real life the best choice would be to find a town to live i and protect it and just live there.

you could try a console command, hit the ~ key, click on your character (in third-person) to show the name and id number, then type in setlevel 30, that might work. Not 100% sure though :whistling: However i would also recommend looking up console commands for new vegas, just google search it.

technically they did, with the perks that increase your chance to hit (aka accuracy) that specific limb/body part. Also the trait, Trigger discipline could give you better accuracy, minus a slight speed cost, which makes perfect sense to me (I shoot all the time, an i was on a rifle team in JROTC) and the most useless perk is.... Retention, since i never used the skill mags, i just sold them for profit and used outfit combinations to get what i needed or i came back a level or two later.
-
I like both, but in terms of enemies encountered in these types of ruins i prefer the dwarven automatons to the constant undead and daedra in the Aylied ruins

The most important person(s) in Skyrim? Farmer Bob, Miller Joe, Blacksmith Dan, and Merchant Mary these are the unsung heroes of the fourth age of Tamerial. They provide raw materials, food, goods, and places to barter, truly they are the most important people in skyrim, since they keep the economy turning and everyone supplied with what they need.

Light Armor. My characters like to be swift, silent and deadly. Typically I'll use elven or glass armor enchanted with one-handed fortify and fortify health regenration enchantments as a base. and then I'll use other pieces of armor just because, they might be from a mod or a DLC.
-
I'm hoping for New York City and the surrounding area, maybe a DLC to further explore the "Commonwealth" that Zimmerman from Fallout 3 is from. I prefer the ruined cities and lone city-states that existed in Fallout 3 compared to the governments and everything to New Vegas, but that's just me.

if I'm correct, then that is Auriel's Shield. You can get it while doing your questing in a....forgotten....place :whistling: Auriel's Shield, Skyrim Wiki

What woulld you like to see in the next DLC?
modder3434 replied to sinnerman69's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
If Bethesda keeps up with releasing free mini dlc's then i would like to see - spears/ polearms, fully-animated, like it was shown in the game jam video - goblins, no need for new caves or lairs, just add in roving, respawning bands of goblins that attack strongholds, and farms etc. In terms of Major DLC: - Someone being elected as the new High King (based on the civil war questline) - The player being named as acting Jarl (or a minor Lord) of a rebuilt Helgan after the main quest is finished, with a lengthy process to rebuild like Kvatch Rebuilt. - Operation Freedom: The Liberation of Tamerial from the grip of the oppressive Thalmor Aggressors. -
Werebear DLC: how would people feel about DLC
modder3434 replied to SpellAndShield's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
This. on a side note, adding in a werebear ability/ option is pointless sense it would be just like the werewolf, underpowered and limited to once a day transformation. we all ready have the "Underworld" DLC. Something in regards to naming a High King, making the player a full -fledged Jarl or Operation Freedom: The Liberation of the Empire from the Thalmor Aggressors. -
how do you install mods onxbox?
modder3434 replied to Tortoiseslayer98's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Console modding is not supported at this time; until the console developers say it is okay, which they never will. Console Modding is illegal -
Am I the only one who saw the topic name and thought he wasn't referring to skyrim? :ohdear: such a same, now my tips on removing the fingers, and teeth, and then dump the body in a deserted part of a big waterway.... (no need to be alarmed, I watch a lot of mob movies)
