If i really lived in skyrim, i'd probably be a farmers son, who gets experience in marksman and sneak while hunting for some game to add to our veggies. At the age, i become my on man, i'd probably join the imperial legion, You know, the old "join the army and see the world" deal, plus i would receive combat training, food, shelter, and a steady paycheck. (with the rebellion i would probably fight the stormcloaks, but i would have a better chance of living thru that then fighting a dragon or another of those mythical creatures in real life. Assuming i lived thru my tour of service, i'd probably hire out my skill set and become a Companion or (as stated above) work for the Black-Briars. Also, if their was any adventuring to be done, i would not fly solo. I would adventurer with a group, roughly 8 or 9 people all with different areas of talent; "You shall be the Fellowship of the [insert dungeon name here]" :wink:

so shallow, its not what a volkniar vampire looks like on the outside, but on the inside that counts... and on the inside he is a Lord among the immortals and a LION among sheep. there are different takes on what vampires look like, some takes on vampire paint them as monsters and that shows, while some paint vampires as humans with super-human abiliites, pointed teeth, a thist for blood, and a thing for high school girls.

some choose not to be a Vampire Lord due to role-play reasons, others don't like the game mechanics of playing as one. the fools, denying themselves the ultimate gift, they are denying themselves the opportunity to become a LION among SHEEP! With this gift they would never fear DEATH AGAIN!

Vampire Lord. in regards to the vampire vs. werewolf, if you compare the standard vamp vs. the werewolf, the werewolf (or lycan) will win, as stated above a vampire lord vs a lycan, no contest. in real life, i find that being a vampire or vampire lord would be easier to exist in society, to interact and feed subtly.

when in vampire lord form, you have your own perk tree that is independent of your normal perk trees, and only available to look at when in your vampire lord form. any vanilla perks do not afect your vampire lord form.

They could have add a another way to progress in the companions questline if you didn't want to be a werewolf. instead of becoming Harbinger, you instead end up as a Guardian (Oblivion Fighter rank) or something by doing awesome quest, and when you become a or the Guardian you can start on the mic quest you get from each memeber. As for joining the Vigliants of Stendarr, there are a couple mods that let you do that and get quests from the Keeper.

So far all the game bethesda made have had replayablity, even in vanilla form. Add in the fact theat pc gamers have access to the modding tools and can make some pretty awesome stuff, stuff that even beats some of the DLC for that game; Example: Knights of the Nine Revealtion, and Anduril Reforged by Lancoer (might have mispelled) for Oblivion and those armors by hothtrooper44 for Skyrim. Great quests, awesome items, and a high production value. now compare that to a game like Modern Warfare (insert number here). sure the story evolves but the story isn't that great and it is bascially the samething every game. shoot, kill, explosion repeat. i enjoy playing a fps form time to time, but i play thru the game once and never repeat it ( except the Wolverines! in MW 2, i'm a fan of Red Dawn) and all you play is muliplayer, if that.

Khajitt have the highest beginning ability and using heavy armor gauntlets for hand to hand adds power to your attacks in the game gloves of the plugist would help as well. As for abilities an orc or redguard would suit your purpose for damage resistance, and the powers, beserker rage, and adrenaline rush

its all about the money, and always will be. as for some fans saying the company betrayed us with this or they dumbed down and cut this. Go play one of the older TES games like morrowind or oblivion and enjoy all the stuff that they cut or dumbed down for skyrim, after awhile you'll appreciate what skyrim does better and then you switch games and then you switch again. keep in mind their is no such thing as a perfect game, even with mods all we can do is improve and minimize, but regardless there will always be that which we dislike.

I don't have a favorite hold, as far as the landscape and environment, i enjoy them all :tongue: But my favorite hold due to a city is Markarth, (what's not to like its dwarven ruins!). :dance:

true to an extent, but if his rig can't run vanilla skyrim decently enough, downloading and using hi-res texture replacers will slow his FPS to low 20s or even lower

use yahoo or google and type in " can you run it" without the quotations. click the link, its at the top of the results, and select skyrim from the drop down box. it will scan your system and tell you where you are, and if you meet the minimum or recommend requirements. if you get recommended results and up then you should be able to run those texture packs and mods without significant lag. hope that helps

not really, the directories are still the same for modding purposes, and you don't have a hard copy anymore, other then that its the same.

I wouldn't worry about it, besides with some of the mods coming out for skyrim, and a couple big projects that finally came out for oblivion I'm not wandering around Tamerial with nothing to do.

Morroblivion could be causing it, uninstall it and it the problem is fixed you know what causes it. As for a fix i'm not sure, you could redo the installation of Morroblivon and double check everything, but at the end of the day this bug is really minor compared to other bugs players experience.

You can be anything is skyrim, the idea with the do whatever and level it, its meant to be more flexible then the previous class systems, yes its broken in the archetypes of thief, mage, an warrior bit you can be any combination of the three.

not that i know of, it could just be going thru a phase, every once in awhile NMM will bug out and then work again. until it fixes itself or another solution is suggested, i would just recommend using NMM to mange load order and download and install the mods for skyrim manually.
