  1. i use varaitons of my name with bits of names from fantasy books like LOTR

    example

    - Remifindel (for elves) derived from Glorifindel

    - Remiar ( humans) derived from Farimer

for the beast races maybe something less serious

    - Lizard that Mods (arognion)

    - Quick-Paw or Silent Paw (khajits)

    - Me Smash! ( orc)

  2. When I'm drunk out of my mind and on a murder tear through Skyrim, there shall be no essential characters. If I run over a kid with a modded pink flying dragon I expect him to either die or turn into a Crazy Alcohol Rainbow Pig. Though I'd prefer the latter, I'm cool with the former.

In fact, I hope Bethesda has the balls to make them kill-able out of the box instead of copping out and leaving it to mods instead. Movies, books and TV shows has stories about kids being raped, murdered, eaten and stuffed in a fridge. Games, especially games marketed to adults, need to stop being held to such an idiotic a double standard and focus on making the best story they can without worrying about what some soccer mom or hypocritical politician is going to say..

amen reverend! (no I'm not being sarcastic)

  3. just no more little mods that have been or could be made by someone on the nexus (like the horse armor).

no need to insult the modders on the nexus

any/every one of them would have produced a better product than DLC horse armor.

i wasn't attempting to insult or slander what the modders of nexus can do. i'm sorry if u took it that way. what i meant was that behtesda shouldn't sell dlcs that should have been in the vanilla game, when the gamer could get what is offered in the dlc off of nexus for free and is better quality then the minor dlc behtesda is selling.

  4. I mean, it is a bit disturbed. Installing mods like Deadly Reflex, and mortal children. Walking around, decapitating children heads, nailing their hands to the doors with arrows, you name it. I don't think it's fun whatsoever, it's just abnormal. Let the kids have peace. I'm sure they will have their own purpose in this game, I think they will be essential for rumors for example.

I'm at least nor craving for children blood, I really don't understand why it's so important to you guys. It's not "just because you can" It's just wrong.

FACT: kids are mortal just like the rest of us.

    - i like options when i role play, if i want to role play an assasin who in his free time likes killing off the future of riverview then thats what im gonna do, only to find out at the top of my screen " Billy is unconsious..".

    - it also adds realism to the game

  5. the vampire system didn't bother me in oblivion, but what botherd me was the lack of vampire quests or perks. yes you got skill boosts the less you drank blood (which seems backward), but you only had the option to go on a vampiric quest whwn you wished to be cured. Bethesda could have at least made it possable to not be attacked by vams if you were one ( i know a buch of mods fixed this problem) and/ or added rival vamp groups. in sky rim i hope they add the ablity to be nonhostile with vamps if you are one or vamp groups, this would be a ajor improvement. but at the very minium make more vamp quests.
  6. as long as the dlcs add something worthwhile then i wont complain, just no more little mods that have been or could be made by someone on the nexus (like the horse armor).

    Dunbarrow cave was good

    Battlehorn Castle was Good

    FRostcraig tower was good

    SI was good

    KOTN was good

    vile lair was good

    merunes razor was good

but the rest of them should have been in the game to begin with.

  7. Todd said if you Kill enough People in a Town, you will be Hunted down as a Contract to Kill the Assassin (You)

Ok so a digital dragon eats a digital kid I don't see the problem
Me either, so why bother making Children if they are just gonna be Immortals anyway.

well if they don't add kids it ooks weird, kind o like in oblivion. without any kids around i had to assume that all npcs just spawn as adults. if they let kids be killable by default they would recieve a rash of s*** for it, and somebody would make the statement " Bethesda supports/promotes the killing of kids" which is ridiculus but somebody would say something like that.

  8. i think the mods that make kids killable is unrealistic. so you kill a kid and nothing happens? should be like the fo 1 or 2 where after you do it everyone hates you and knows your a child killer.

the fallout 3 mod for this gave you a perk for kiling enough kids, and the more upstanding towns ( megaton, and rivet city) went hostile, although if you killed enough kids the raiders would be your pals.

  9. I'll do as much as I can until I feel like doing a little bit of the main quest, then I'll probably go back to adventuring.

*Note-I don't go questing, I go adventuring. Like, dungeon diving and finding out what game mechanics my character can break. There's a little bit of questing in between, but I like to spontaneously just do whatever the hell I feel like doing.

whenever i feel like doing spontaous things in a game like this i almost always kill off a whole town, settlement, village etc.

  10. a hardcore option would be awesome in skyrim, although i think that they aren't going to add t based on what todd said in an interview a wile ago, but no worries someone will make a mod for it.
  11. Am i the only one who noticed that when they took a horse from a dead man the game mark it as stealing?

and im the only one who noticed that miles away when they finally reach the town the guard stoped them for stealing that horse?!

WTF!! this is oblivion style guard who knows EVERYTHING! W T F!

the crime system s a little bit diffrent. in oblivion you could commit a crime in the wild and be wanted everywhere, in skyrim there are 9 diffrent "fiefs" called holds, there is a diffrent crime gold for each hold., also it seems we can brible guards, so relax, and f it turns out o be too much like oblivion then the reener can make another guard overhaul.

  12. sometimes Bethesda employees come on here, just to see what is popular to the fans, and what could be added or redone in a new game.

-for skyrim they were probably inspired by unnecessary violence and deadly reflex for the combat.

-for the stealth that was a stealth overhaul mod combined with an archery overhaul mod.

    - for the crafting/cooking maybe the system fro New vegas

  13. i don't know about the rest of you, but i personally like seeing what my health is since i'm not inside the game to feel the slashes and frost burns myself, and a little compass to steer myself in the right direction is nice since if i was there i'd have my compas out all the time.
  14. I hope we can Mod out the Perk, it would get Boring in time to Just Decapitate Heads.

    1. that is why ther are modders who mod the game to thier exact tastes.

    2. decaping people would get boring? i don't see it that way, this is a big step up from oblivion combat, i had to use deadly reflex 5 before i could play anymore. also if decaps will make you bored after a while then use them sparely and use mostly magic or axes and maces since decap is a blade perk.

  15. I've always felt like horse riding didn't belong in Oblivion because its the one skill you can't improve!

So how about making a mod with the Horse Taming skill: beginners fall off horses (when it rears up) and must tie it up to prevent them running away, apprentices can tame wild horses, journeymen's horses stay put when dismounted (except stolen horses), masters never fall off and stolen horses can become owned after a while, experts can whistle and their horse comes running to you a la zelda.

i like this concept, realistic, and goes well with the skill leveling, although in skyrim the skills improve as you use them, so what if we tokk this concept a but the pros,

    - tame wild hores

    -stay when dimounted

    - a stolen horse becomes yours after a while

    - whisling to it

become perks for this skills perk tree

  16. some dragons are friendly or at lest not hostile, so maybe there can be a dragon companion, just a small one. if Bethesda doesn't include it somebody will probably mod it.
  17. good luck will all of that.

on a side note why can't people ever be happy with what a game offers, the game hasn't even come out yet and people are already planning mods great and small.

    jesus, PLAY THE GAME FIRST!!!!
