What a stupid change they implemented that serves no one. They say it was noob trap, but noob are gonna noob - this helps no one. It gives me headache when compare dozen of say assault rifles with each other which some hit harder but fire lower, others other way around and while there DPS sort button - I'd love to know what DPS difference there is - because if it's big enough - it may be worth to sacrifice current lower dps weapon but with nice special modifier - of if difference is small, the swap is not worth it, etc.. I people were not smart enough to understand DPS on sniper rifle and DPS SMG should not be compared - then I'm sorry, but current system won't save those people. So now I have to multiply s#*! in my head because CDPR cares for "noobs"??? What do that "noob" will make up from current system? Will likely use higher hit damage weapon over higher DPS one (which is better on pretty much all automatic weapons, most pistols, and even certain shotguns. If anything CDPR should have made it disabled by default - but leave an option to re-enable it in menu for "non noobs" who know when DPS comparison makes sense and when not? So yeah, please bring back DPS metric
