Please, someone add beacon location names to the maps. I can never tell if a beacon is one district or another in Dock Town or Arlathan, etc.

I have never modded beyond making character presets in most games I play, but something in this game is driving me crazy enough to want to learn. The hair styles that show the hairline around the forehead on pale colors glows rather than look shadowed. the way hair roots around the face should look. Try it out, try white hair on a character with Andreja's hairstyle. Walk out in the sun and watch the hairline shine like a distracting beacon. So I'm asking please, can anyone direct me to whatever program they use to pull out the game's textures, alter them, and put them back into the game? I have photoshop. What other programs do I need? Is there a website or link that will give me instructions on how to mod textures? I don't want the roots dark like grown out, just looking natural and not glowing white. I'm willing to learn if someone will teach me or direct me to the tools so I can do it myself. I'm retired so I have plenty of time to learn this, I just need someone gracious enough to point me in the right direction. Pleeeaaaseeee! Edit to add: I've just downloaded Blender, I think that's the program people are using?

[Mod Idea] Cargo Links but less clumsy

I want to be able to create a seaside outpost, and cargo link all the mineral production outposts to that one seaside outpost where I can happily enjoy the view while crafting. My hubby seconds that too. I'd love to have the resource cargo links all come to one "master cargo link." I want this. My husband wants this. I can imagine a LOT of people want to be able to create a "home" outpost and have all their resources cargo link to the "master" cargo receiver. -
For the love of god, someone make a mod to change the named NPC little girls to be different... Cora and Sona (who are completely unrelated) look like twins at the Lodge, Anna (quest giver in Akila) is also their clone but with different colored eyes. How does this game have at least THREE named QUEST related npc's with the SAME FACE AND HAIR? I really like Cora, but she looks like Clone A to Clone B to Clone C. I can't even tell Cora and Sona apart in the Lodge except for the clothing. Also, I wish I could give Cora some of the books I've been looting. That's another dev oversight.

I don't know why most games released come with only that dead-hay color for blonde, but a better, natural blonde would be great. Buttery blonde, golden blonde, strawberry blonde, choices with warm natural blondes rather than ash blonde. As a former hairdresser, the dead-hay blonde just makes my teeth hurt.

I wholeheartedly agree. It's not just a matter of changing the keybind, which I've done. It's an issue that the keybind for getting out of the chair is locked into another action as well. -
Move the longer ponytail onto the fuller head of hair of the shorter ponytail. This would also be a nice place to put a braid, but I'd be happy with just having a the longer ponytail on a head that doesn't have the hair pulled so tight on the scalp.

Agreed. More hairstyles are needed. I wonder if they aren't coming out yet from our Mod-Gods because the process is too complicated without the creation-kit out till next year?

I'd be stoked if someone would just clean up his scruffy beard. I love that man's personality. I'd romance him instead of the cowboy if Barrett's beard was just trimmed.

Yes please! And a long braid. And a really big messy bun crowned on the head like the Mass Effect one for femShep. Putting the bun in the back with the hair in front slicked down tight looks pretty meh. And that curly triangular shaped vanilla style? Can we have it in a longer version?

Winged eyeliner that flicks up instead of , well the way it either goes straight across or swoops down depending on your character. Hogwarts Legacy vanilla did the same thing until modders there came to the rescue with makeup mods that "fixed the flick."

It's like this in every single game I've ever played, and I don't get why they never sync the player character walk speed with the NPC they are supposed to be following or escorting. Why?!

I'll start... Bun variation: move the back of the head bun higher up, like the one in Mass Effect for FemShep. I nice big saucy bun. Longer ponytail Other Ideas? I'm not a modder, and deeply appreciate and respect those with such skills. That being said, have any of the mod-gods played with this and is it difficult? More difficult or less so than BG2, Mass Effect, etc? I have no idea what the nuances are or if what I'm asking for is even doable or not with this games code.

I've googled the net and searched at Nexus, there is no hotbar mod that I can find where we can use our keyboards 1-0 plus - and = keys for a 12 key hotbar. Hell, I'd be happy with an 8 key hotbar. I feel like the game was made for consoles and PC was an afterthought. I wish I had the brains to create the hotbar mod but I'm just not talented. Is anyone else who does have the talent working on this?

This is one of the few games without a bloom slider or option. Heavy bloom gives me migraines. Does anyone know how to reduce the bloom?

Heh, my first playthrough I was Ravenclaw too. I tried Slytherin this second time around. I'm doing Grypyndor (sp?) next. I played hundreds of Mass Effect/Dragon Age hours over and over. I expect I will of this game too.

I'll go first. No, Arachnia Plum is NOT a child. She's been sent by the Ministry to pose as one. Why? Investigating the Headmaster, but then she gets caught up in this Ranrok business. Only Professor Hecat knows the truth as that particular professor is her 'handler' in the Ministry. Why was Prof. Fig used to deliver Arachnia to the school and be her mentor? The ministry was familiar with him as his wife, Miriam worked with the Ministry. Easy connection, and Fig didn't have to be given any explanation. Side quest, Professor Sharp is a werewolf that is protected during those full moons by Professor Hecat and chained in his own room of requirement when, well, required. I'm a full grown adult player. My character is head-cannoned as a full grown young adult woman agent, investigating a situation at the school, in league with Hecat, and sort of has a thing with Prof. Sharp.

Reason for Yennefer outfit removal?

The mini skirt mod is still up. I wonder why the Yennifer outfit disappears, re-appears then disappears again. I really wanted to use it in my next playthrough.
