    Fallout 3 Crashes only when I shoot an NPC

    I've done everything you told me too and know it just seem like the game is crashing but not too often like every couple of minutes and i can shoot people,ive made a folder in my computer where the game is and the fallout_default.ini stays the same when i load and it keep the bUse Threaded=1 & iNumHWThread=2 but in my documnets the fallout.ini keeps on reverting to the default :/ I managed to get through the whole vault, through megaton, defuse the bomb and then go to the super duper mart and then it started to crash D:

    Recently I've been playing a lot of old games such as dues ex 1 and system shock 2 ect. which in my opinion are the best games ever made but are not my favorite XD

     

    However, im still looking for more old games but I really want to play some games that came out when i was younger, such as voodoo vicne for the original xbox & Gex for ps1. But I really really really want to get "The Punsiher PC" I have the game on the original xbox but the disc is scrathed to poop so I cant play it D: and also you can mod the pc version ^_^ I'm not the sort of guy to go pirate these games as I think the developers deserve my money for making worthwhile and actually good & fun to play games, to be honest I've only pirated once because i didn't have enough money to get the game but the game was so good i stopped and waited for get money and then bought it :3 So yeah I don't like pirating ;_;

    Has anyone here played The Punisher ?? The reason i like it is because it actually feels like the comics & I love games where you get rewarded for exploring, such as waiting before enterign a room and listening to easter eggs (especially Max Payne 1 :D) or playing harder difficulties unlocks better items/challeneges * The Punisher if FULL of them :smile: If anyone can find my a online copy or a disc for pc it would be very appreciated :D

     

    By the way, what are your guys favorite games ?? I like to hear them so i can play some games other people beleive are better than the rest , my favorite game is The Darkness, prefect story,gameplay and atmosphere :D I didn't have a second favorite game but i've recently played Child of light and omgomgomgomgomg such an amazing game, my top 2 favorite games are quite the opposite, one is about the darkness and the other is about light XD

    Thanks for the help and sorry id dint realize I poster more then once :/

    How do I install a game outside of steam as when i install it says "all downloads will occur through steam"?

     

    Also FWE-Project beauty.esp is only in the plugins and I can only disable it as to remove it I have to uninstall the whole FWE mod ??

    I was following gophers tutorial and some mods had been updated so I had to use blackened but wasnt sure on which patch to get or which MMM to get, could someone help me get the right mods and patches please :D

    Firstly I am new to the modding scene as this is my first modded experience but i do know my way around a computer, but could still use the advice :3

     

    I've followed a mod installer series by gopher on youtube and installed all mods and patches ect. and the game runs fine on vanilla & even better on the modded version with all the updates, luckily I have a very good pc and can run GTA V on the max settings so i should have no problem running this and in fact i don't, its very smooth and i have no frame rate or stutter problems., but on the modded game when ever i shoot an npc the game instantly freezes with no warning or delay, just freezes in place but the game carries on in the background and i can hear voices and gun shots, if i shot around the npc there is no problem but when I hit one it freezes. I can explore the entire wasteland with no trouble and i can get hit by enemies but even fi i use a melee weapon the game freezes on impact.

     

    I've tried adding in patches and using bUseThreadedAI=1 & iNumHWThread=2 but whenever i load up the game they just reset to their original values each time :/
