  4. Why are people so anti-Steam? I own over 130 titles through Steam and they're all currently installed. I have never had a single bad experience using Steam. O.o...I think a lot of it is misinformation or mis-conceptualization if anything.... And I'm 99% sure you have to use steam!
  5. Is it possible to A) Make an animation to hold a custom shotgun one-handed? Like one arm down to your side, your right foot a little forward, and your right arm fully extended straight out holding your gun? And B) could somebody make a sawn-off shotgun that looks like the one in that video? ^^...It has a pistol grip and it's a one-hander. Thank you!! I would make it but I'm still in the process of learning re-texturing and meshing ^_^....(want to start simple, but want my Unarmed/Shotgun character to start!)
  6. I was wondering if it would be possible to make it so a hit to a limb as opposed to the head or torso, could have a separate critical chance? The head is mostly vital, so it'd be a lot easier to crit somebody. Limbs have major arteries and that's it. Is there a way to make it so, a leg would be like....3% chance to crit, and the head could be 12%?
  7. Hello! I am currently in the process of creating a mod that attempts to bring much better balancing to the game. All changes in the first set of notes and GECK will be considered pre-alpha. I am currently looking for people who have experience with NV, as well as each individual DLC. I need feedback on the modified values, as well as input prior to changing them. I want to get this balancing mod done soon, so I would appreciate a serious offer of help. Your job is not going to be to mod, just play-testing, data feedback and consultation. Basically the mod will attempt to lower the value of everything. Bottlecaps will be a lot harder to come by, but still easier than Fallout3. I found that getting 10k by level 10 without cheating wasn't fun at all, and that it needed to change. Things like fire rate, spread, damage, condition (health), weight, ammo capacity, vats to-hit chance, crit multiplier, action point usage, crit damage, types of ammo used, projectile speed, mod bonuses, etc., will be modified for each individual gun, as well as DT, DR, etc., for armors to attempt to bring the game to a healthier level of balance.   8. Holy jesus...his eyes are....in the one screenshot one is dilated and the other isn't! Or at least it looks that way. xD...I kind of want a paper bag over his head >_> Good thing this isn't my request :D. I like him so far though. Good job guys.
  9. I like to imagine there's just a crap-ton of nasty particles floating around for the beams to show up on. It is a nuclear wasteland after all (: Edit: I agree for SOME of the weapons. Not all of the beam effects are 100% ridiculous. The one I can think of that is most ridiculous is the Comp. Regulator or whatever in the DLC.
  10. Yes. Quite soon. :biggrin: Any chance there can be a version that has mounted lasers on his back? That would be a champion wolf if I've ever seen one! /sarcasm. No seriously. Think about it. You could call him Plasma Wolf. And he could glow! AWWW YEA! -play CSI: NY music- -puts on sunglasses- -walks away from the screen- I'm looking forward to it. I'm trying to learn to mod myself, but so far I'm not learning too quickly.
  11. Is there a modder out there that could do the following? A) Create a new laser rifle. I) It must be use-able as a sniper. So a FoV of like 30? II) Picture was taken down for some reason.. III) Maybe some laser rifle sketches, caution labels, screens, etc., and the barrel should be a little more "energized", as well as the magazine. IV) There needs to be a scope on the top, with night vision enabled. V) Preferably balanced with a medium-high sniper rifle from the ballistic skill: Guns. VI) The beam should be of a yellow/orange or green if you can't mod the projectile. VII) Instead of it being a beam, is it possible for it to be a bolt like in the Star Wars movies? You know, like the blasters that the Storm Troopers use? VIII) Can the crit effect not burn them into a pile of ash, but either use OWB stun effect, or just burn them? Thank you if you can do something like this ^_^.
