  1. For a while now I've been unable to load any save game (well, almost any). I start a new game, play around a bit, save and exit. Then next time I want to play I try to load the save, and it looks like it's gonna load just fine, takes about the same amount of time it used to if not a little bit longer, then BOOM, CTD with no warning or anything. I can start a new game no problem, and the save files are around 5mb, so it's not because they're too big. For at least a year now I've been using ENB, just for the parallax and enboost, and I've got the latest version of SKSE. I'm also using Mod Organizer. I've got an nvidia gtx660, i7-2600 3.4ghz (OC 3.8ghz), and 8 gigs of ram, so I don't think it's too much for my computer to handle, especially since I've been able to play when I only had 4 gigs or ram and a gt520.
  2. Just like so many times before, I get an instant CTD with skyrim anytime I try to sprint or perform a normal or power attack with a one handed weapon. I thought it had something to do with the YY Mystic Knight mod I installed, but it only started about a day ago. I use MO so it's easy enough to remove a mod without breaking anything, so I removed all animation related mods. After removing the mystic knight, the dance of death, and unpb-bbp, nothing has changed.
  3. My motherboard is a gigabyte p67a-ud4-b3. And the offending speakers are the rear speakers. The whole setup is an amalgamation of hand-me-down speakers that I managed to get working, and they work well most of the time. I'd just like to know if there is a way to make it so that only the ambient/background sound comes out of the rear ones and not the voices of NPC's and such.
  4. I've recently upgraded my speakers, which is something I'm very unfamiliar with. They are a well used, but better than what I had before. The only problem I have is in game, primarily Skyrim. I get a very annoying echo most of the time, and I can only hear well from the two front speakers. It wouldn't be a problem except that depending on where the npc is in relation to my character it seems to only come out of the side speakers or the rear speakers. Is there any way to fix this? The only software I have for this is the Realtek HD audio manager, and I have been playing around with it but really have no idea what I'm doing.
  5. I keep having crashes when sprinting or when attacking with a one handed weapon. I don't have any sprint animation mods installed, and I have the YY Mystic Knight mod installed, but that's never given me any problems before (except maybe looking too cool). One other note, GenerateFNIS for Users gives me an error about the game not being a legal copy, but it is very clear to me, my friends, and steam that it is a legal copy. I have to wonder if that has something to do with it
  6. I know that happens with Dual Sheath Redux if you don't have the proper skeleton, so that could be it. Whatever it is, it's definitely (maybe) a mesh/skeleton related problem
  7. bmafaga, I've had some issues with skyre and immersive armors v7, but if you make changes to the reproccer's stats.xml you can fix the problems. Tendo has a little tutorial on how to do it, though I can't remember where it is. loraxtreewood, I can't guarantee I can help, but if you post you're boss log I can try, and you may attract more attention to your problem.
  8. I've spent about two weeks trying to narrow down the problems with skyrim i'm having, and I only have one left to deal with. I get consistent crashes when trying to sprint. I had XP32's animation package installed, but due to some issues with PECA (seemed to cause random crashes when I entered a new cell and the crashing stopped when I uninstalled it) I uninstalled the animations and opted for some other ones. They all work perfectly, but any time I sprint I get an instant CTD. At first I thought it had something to do with bbp, but I have bbp installed right, since it works in other situations and with armors/clothing. Since I have no running/sprinting animation mods installed, i'm at a loss I don't know if it makes a difference, but the Generate FNIS for users gives me the warning "Warning: Generator not run from a legal (Steam) Skyrim installation directory." even though it is a legal steam version. I also started getting crashes when using one handed weapons...
  9. Well, it is an intel i7-2600 3.4ghz. I overclocked it to 3.8ghz and the stutter is gone. Between the overclocking of the cpu and the 660, I don't think I've ever been so satisfied with skyrim. One more thing. I only have 4 gigs of ram (1x4gb Corsair XMS3 1600mhz). Does that make a difference with skyrim? The stutter is gone, but it still takes a few seconds to load every new cell. Not that big of a deal, but if getting a little more ram will help that would be cool.
  10. I used the alternate start mod to start out in my favorite city, Markarth, and it has been going great for a long time. I became a thane of all the holds that favor the empire, finished the civil war questline, became thane of the rest of the holds except Riften. Then I came back to Markarth after running around Eastmarch for some time to dump some loot in the house, and the next thing I knew it the guards barged in and started telling me I'm a criminal. That wouldn't be a problem, I didn't commit any crimes (in the Reach) but the problem comes after that. No matter what my response, they turn hostile. If I tell them I'm a thane, they turn hostile, if I pay off the bounty (1000) they turn hostile. And when I go to jail, the guards are hostile then the screen fades and I'm in the mine and all the other prisoners are hostile. No one seems to turn hostile until after the guards talk to me.
  11. So I've been playing with the 660 for about a week now, and almost everything runs spectacularly. I can run Fallout 3/New Vegas/Oblivion, even with things like NMC's texture pack, as well as other games like Assassin's Creed IV, Arma II, and Shogun 2: Total War on the highest graphics settings with no issues (Shogun 2 looks especially good). But for some reason I get a terrible stutter. It doesn't matter what drivers, mods or settings I have, the stutter remains. Otherwise, great card.
  12. It's 650 watts if that's what you're asking
  13. So I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to anything except playing games, and that includes hardware. I used to be even more of a noob back when I bought the computer I'm on now, and that's why it has an nvidia gt 520. A friend offered to give me his old gtx 660 (lucky guy just got a 690). I assume I would get better performance with this new one. But my question is would it be worth it to get another one? My mobo is sli compatible. I just don't really know if it would make a difference.
  14. I was recently having some issues with random crashes, and after nothing worked I decided to reinstall skyrim. I installed some of the mods I wanted, and now it crashes on startup immediately after the community uncapper thing pops up. I use the latest version of enboost, if that makes a difference. also, here's my load order
  15. I'm not sure which mod it is, but one of those helped. I still get frequent crashes, but not as bad as before
