OH MY GOD!! I spent the better part of my Labour Day long weekend trying to get Morrowind working again, but was running around in circles! Not sure what Micro$hit did, but I'm sure it's their latest "Creator Updated" that messed something up, as Morrowind was working fine for me at the beginning of May 2017 (the last time I played it). When I tried to play it a few months later (September 2017), that dreaded 0xc000007b error kept popping up, and nothing could fix it! I even tried this thing called "Dependency Walker", but it couldn't pinpoint any missing DLL. I uninstalled all VC++ redistributables, and DirectX 9.0c June 2010, but nothing helped. But thanks to aguy1111, RENAMING "dinput8.dll" in Morrowind's folder made Morrowind work right away! aguy1111, if you have a PayPal account, please PM it to me so I can send you $5 as a big THANK YOU for finding the solution! I'll just add that you don't have to delete "dinput8.dll". Just rename it to "1dinput8.dll" or add any other number/character so that Morrowind/MGE can't find it, and it will RUN! YEAAAAAH!! Oh, thank you Micro$hit for wasting my Labour Day weekend! Keep breaking stuff! We love it! Hahaha
