I've been playing off and on for a few years now. Name: Daza Loraz Race: Gallente Bloodline: Don't remember. I'm a nice lovable carebear, I mine and make my own attempt at building things which is pretty difficult when you are all on your own. I also occasionally dabble in mission running and the random sightseeing trip through Low-Sec.

The price that you have to pay if you get the game through Steam is the exact same price that you pay if you purchase the game/account directly from the EVE website. So really they are just using Steam as a way of getting the game out there to more potential customers. The way that its worded on Steam is that you are paying for the game client download(which is actually false as all that you really are paying for is the account, the download is free), the 30 days are included for free basically. If the 30 days were not free then the game would have to cost about $35 instead.

I haven't really heard anything in-game about them being at war, and I haven't seen any news posts about it either so I don't think that they are. I could be wrong though as I don't go through their area of the galaxy very often.

I would be willing to send you one, I will need an email from you to do so though. As far as newbie tips go I would recommend that you find an read the tips and guides on the Eve University wiki as they do a very good job of putting you on the path to most anywhere that you want to go. If you end up liking the game and continue on I would recommend trying to get into the Eve University corporation as they are very skilled at helping new players. Other than that I would recommend downloading EveMon to help you plan out your skill training, don't bother with getting learning skills in the game , as by December 15th they will be completely removed from the game.
