ok heres how i see you may be able to "copy" the mounting animation without going too far, (note ive never tried anything like this) first you get one of those compatibility skeletons(or make one for yourself) and export the animation to your favorite program and parent your bones to the ones you wanna follow, now i imagine this would need a good bit of clean up and till we can put in custom animations you wouldnt have much use for it but i feel the process of cleaning it up would make different enough from the one in skyrim that it should be ok(but i can't say for sure) you would have to give credit to the maker of the skeleton if you used one. now this by no means a tutorial but more of somewhere you may be able to get a start from.

i always wanted to try and refreeze her till you could her a doctor to patch her up ya the bullet would have lead to some complications in refreezing the first time but it would still be worth a shot if nothing else shaun could have tried to recreate her to see what it might have been like to have her around maybe it could give you an option to let keep believing she's your real wife or tell her the truth

just finished getting a custom sword to stop ctd so now i'm going to see how far i can get on power armor tower shields maybe even slam them down and leave them as cover or doorway blockers i might riot shields if i can figure that out

well i was thinking of a big tower shield type thing for use in power armor but i wasn't sure if it could be equiped like a shield in skyrim so i was thinking that it would be a mod for the arm part of armor that would disappear if it could be deployed(which would be useful for blocking door ways but if you could actually equip it then you could make something like a riot shield for when you're not in power armor which would be cool i might try making one of those too

so i guess it's my textures that are causing my ctd no wonder nothing i tried fixed it it was my specular map so ill have to work on that thanks for the help -
hmm maybe you could have it set as a grenade with a fast animation but slow speed(think they are separate) or have a hidden event going on that would stop you from over using something but what do you want a cooldown for?

~warning~ my modeling skills aren't the best it may take a few tries to get it looking like it really fits as for textures i hate them but i'd be willing to do uv's personally id like to see some sort of portable blast (tower)shield that power armor can carry and maybe even placed as cover i mean you have something that would be worth millions of dollars and has many very specialized moving parts so why not have some sort slab that could take much more damage and still leave you real armor shiny and with less holes. mechanics of mod: basically i was thinking it could be a arm mod that wouldn't take damage when shot(not sure how possible that is) and could be slammed down and used as cover(this would turn it into a furniture object just like what happens to power armor when you get out of it). now to make this make sense in the world it would just be held on with a high powered magnet and a handle that has a switch to turn off the magnet. now if this was to go far enough i was thinking of making different versions for raider up to X-01 but i don't want to get ahead of myself.

ok must be my materials then is own emit part of materials im making new ones with the absolute basic settings to see if that fixes it one wierd thing that might be worth mentioning is that nifskope actually wouldnt display two textures until i altered their names its like the combination of letters upset something -

did some troubleshooting and with only the blue edge it works but it's invisible ingame for whatever that's worth -

FO4edit id like to try it but i just I wish could get it without the stupid launcher and such i was able to stop the ctd if i added a VF_Skinned to all the trishapes -

[sOLVED] it was bad texture exporting that kept causing ctd ive been at this for 3 weeks(not including modeling time) trying to make a proton sword and been able to get the FO4edit side of things working(using a different mesh) and i've checked over everything in the bgsm files but it's still fighting me. If someone can check it over that would be awesome. also if anyone knows how i could add ignore armor to the base model id appreciate it. http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=00517576750764887228

so i searched for a while but couldn't find the answer. every time i try to fire an arrow the horse stops moving and rears up and i take damage and after a little while the arrow get put away on its own as for magic i get sounds every now and then but nothing happens
