Sometimes i start to regain my faith in humanity. then something like this happens, and i remember why i don't like the write-off of a species i belong to. oh well. at least the salt is delicious.

Drawing a line under recent events and moving on

It's probably for the best. I've said all i need to say. I'm happy to be rid of this for a time. no reason to forget, but not talking about it is a welcome change. -

i'm not a firm believer in ghosts, or the paranormal in general. i have family that do however (my mother was absolutely convinced there was a spectral crying woman who lived in her room, my sister thought that her room was haunted and had night terrors related to demons). i do though, get the occasional feeling that i am being followed. i chill runs down my spine, i turn around and no one is there. it dissapears when i reach my destination.

you could also use the setstage command to autocomplete quests you already have done. might want to bat that too if you do it though.

before race compatibility came out the ashen race was treated as a breton race for compatibility reasons, but that's all i know about that.

what difficulty are you on first of all. and second of all, can you separate them? its easier just to spam arrows at them while strafing left and right, don't worry about poison unless its magika draining, or something like paralyze.

holy mother of necro.

you get a castle, its pretty black and white. no you don't lose it if you become normal, because you own it to begin with.

Tell us about your character
gingersnapples replied to SoggyWaffle's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Spoilers
name: Hope gender: female age: 17? (she doesn't keep track of years) race: caucasian mixed with japanese ("she" race used as a base) combat style: stealth-heavy designated marksman specialties: mid-to-long range rifles, stealth, and punching weaknesses: bullets? likes: the road, nuka cola, not being shot at, sneaking up on people and catching them by surprise, dark places (easier to sneak) dislikes: drugs (all of them), caesar's legion (though she pronounces it the way it should be), NCR, raiders, people who don't tell her what she should know Friendly factions: Followers of the apocalypse, freeside, great khans, the strip, boomers, novac, goodsprings, primm, (non-hostile dlc factions). neutral factions: NCR (lesser evil), the three main groups on the strip, house, BOS hostile factions: everything not stated companions: boone, veronica (for obvious reasons beyond faction ties) love interests: none parents: biological are dead, a ghoul that called himself sǐ shēn (grim reaper) as a "legal guardian" early life/teen years: she was an orphan from the divide. parents died in a raider attack on a caravan to NCR territory, and she was hidden before the attack could start. She was taken in by a ghoul who had been a dragoon prior to the great war, and came about the remains of the caravan after the raiders left. The ghoul taught her every thing she knows about stealth, survival, combat, and marksman-ship, and then one day left without another word. how did she become a courier: she just kinda fell into it, one day she was wandering the wasteland and found a dead man on the side of the road with a wrapped package and a note in hand. the note, along with mention of the mojave express (a group which she had heard of prior, but never dealt with personally), stated the package was bound for a man in broken hills. after about 10 minutes on contemplating what she would do next, she picked up the package and walked to the nearest town (which happened to be New Reno) and took it to a mojave express building that was on the outskirts of the town. after a long conversation with the clerk, who was surprised to see the package again in the hands of a person who he had never even heard of. after hope finished talking, he asked her if she would deliver the package, and offered to pay her when the job was done. hope agreed after a minute of silent contemplation, and thus began her life as a courier. -
Help with character build
gingersnapples replied to Deleted4666244User's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Spoilers
stats remind me of a typical soldier: strong, tough, keen, and intelligent, but not the most convincing person on the planet. I'm assuming that her mother wasn't also ninja so i would try to stay away from stealth builds, but that's up to you. to be honest, unless you are suddenly enthralled to play a silver-tounged bad-ass halfway through the game i would stick with perks that make sense for your character, which is basically anything not involving speech (unless through intimidation), ballistics, punching (especially punching), or melee (i suppose, i would opt out of survival too, unless your playing hardcore). that being said, i would pick perks that make killing things with directed energy easier, armor tougher (since this is enclave we're talking about i'm assuming power armor has to be accounted for), repair easier (jury rigging, jury rigging....), etc.... basically a typical BOS build, but more 'murica (enclave superiority style). -
Help with choice of weapons
gingersnapples replied to InsaneBlackRockShooter's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
personally, i wouldn't go with any of those weapons. when I'm playing a sniper class, i go with a fully modded hunting rifle, and either some kind of un-scoped carbine, the hunting shotgun or a pistol. (autos aren't very ammo friendly or accurate, from experience) -
Help with character build
gingersnapples replied to Deleted4666244User's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Spoilers
first things first, what did "alicia" actually do for the enclave? soldier, scientist, officer? it was a military organization, so it has military roles. your SPECIAL posted would help too. -
What is your most game changing mod?
gingersnapples replied to tiggerdyret's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
morrowloot, it edits the leveled lists to morrowind values and changes certain armors so they only appear on their specific races (so-elven and glass on high-elves, orchish on orcs, dwemer stuff only appears in dwemer ruins, ect) and makes ebony really rare, makes it so only one set of daedric exists and not in one spot, and re-adds artifacts from the older games (like the daedric crescent). -
i wouldn't use the es wiki as a guide, its riddled to the brim with fan-lore. UESP does state however that high rock's politics is a feudal society divided into 5 kingdoms. and their article on architecture reminds me of a typical Euro-feudal society as well.

Helpful Glitch or Powerful Staff
gingersnapples replied to MidbossVyers's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
The magic effect Staff of Revenants uses is identical to the spell Revenants but the spell the staff casts is NOT identical to the spell. Staff of Revenants can only raise corpse up to level 9 while the spell Revenants can affect level 21. The spell has an extra effect to turn corpse to ash while the staff do not (and I believe it is by design). no, i don't believe that would be by design. though its only to level nine an effect cast by a staff should be identical to the spell with the same name, not weaker with a broken "on death" effect. EDIT: just opened up skyrim in the CK. they both use the same "reanimate" effect, but the staff lacks the secondary effect the spell has (on death effect) and has a lower magnitude. gonna fix that... -

technically in dawnguard you become the leader of the volkihar vampire clan if you do the vampire route (well, i guess ownership of their castle can be hinted that way). -

that's a glitch, the spell staff of revenants casts is identical to the spell "revenant"
