I see a lot of notes saying NMM is bad with very large mods. I personally had no trouble with the couple biggies I have installed already. Is that more for older versions of NMM? If you advise another install method, please tell me how. The author greatly discourages manual.

I have some outdated mods with updates. They don't have special instructions for updating but I don't want to screw up the game. What's the proper procedure for updating? Do I just redownload in NMM? Do I have to uninstall or delete first? Should I manually just overwrite? Sorry, obviously new to mods.

I know it was never ported because it needs the script extender and I don't know if you can possibly slow down those dialogues without the extender. I do have a non voiced mod with some of the dialogue flying by and impossible to read. Is there anything I can do other than beg the modder to make the silent voice files?

This type of mod usually comes out for all the bethesda games, right? Anyone working on it now or able to tell us how we can do it?
