  1. To those who experience this problem as well... It is a Mod issue. If you follow the link provided above you can get the full info. Fix is coming.
  2. As stated. Installed NVSE as per instructions. If I type "GetNVSEVersion" it comes back NVSE Version 1. All my other mods requiring NVSE work fine it appears... For some reason though, the Advanced Recon Thermal Nightvision mod does not seem to be reading that NVSE is actually there. Everytime i turn "NVSE on" in the Advanced Recon settings, I promptly get a NVSE Warning, NVSE not found message. I am not sure why this is. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing every mod, making sure that NVSE is in place, changing the load order, etc. Ideas? I even installed the Unified HUD mod and primary needs HUD. Both of these installed and ran fine with their HUD additions... the recon gear just doesn't seem to want to work though. Help?
  3. Does the game even start? if its crashing on start up there may be a mod conflict. Disable all of them and add one by one til you find the trouble one...
  4. This has nothing to do with NVSE working or not. That thing in the Pipboy is from a MOD. NVSE itself doesn't add anything like that. The problem is that the mod is not detecting NVSE properly. Thanks! that's what I needed to know. Time to go trouble shoot the mod i guess. Thanks again!
  5. Not a modder by any stretch... But, when you cripple an arm from repeatedly shooting it, the weapon drops. It doesn't go into your inventory - just flies off like most things do with the physics engine. It might be the direction to look though.. .copy the effect as a 'random chance' when in melee combat, rather than a 100% chance upon limb crippling...
  6. Legal copy. No worries there. Steam is running, the in-game box is checked. I agree I shouldn't need to "activate" nvse. If i begin a new game however, i promptly get the same "NVSE not found" message. Save, try a few trouble shooting ideas out, reload, re-create a new game... keep getting the same message.
  7. Same problem. Can't get NVSE to work... here's what I've done. Any help is appreciated. -Installed Fallout NV from steam. -Checked that Fallout NV is fully updated, all files verified -Ran Fallout NV.. works -Downloaded FOMM. -Downloaded some mods... -Downloaded NVSE... -Installed NVSE as per instructions: All .ddl and .exe files into the directory (not data) folder. -NVSE won't work. So, after forum trolling, i tried a few things out -Deactivated all mods so game was running in "vanilla" -Ran game, typed "getNVSEVersion". Came back "NVSE Version 1". -"GREAT" I thought, NVSE is current, installed, working, everything should be good -Hit the pip-boy option to activate NVSE -... and promptly got the "NVSE not found" error -Repeated the above, making a point to ensure that every FalloutNV related .exe file was running as admin.... (yay for windows 7). Does anyone have any thoughts? It's not a mod conflict it's not a out-of-date issue (FNV full up to date, NVSE 1b6). The game is registering that NVSE Version 1 is there... but whenever i try to activate it in game (I have tried running the steam, FOMM, and NVSE launcher all to try to get it to work. Every single one results in the same thing) i still get the NVSE not detected message. Help?
