  1. https://images-ext-1...=832&height=468 Okay so I decided to try playing around with SkyrimSE (btw if this is the wrong thread, forgive me. Assuming that Skyrim is Skyrim here). Figured I'd like to do a sort of remaster of an old mod of mine, having more experience this time around. However I've run into a bit of a road block... So the mod I'm working on is a replacer for the vanilla gorecap, that is the neck stump when you chop some poor fool's head off. I have the custom mesh and associated textures working in-game (for human male only atm). But here's where my problem starts... I swing my sharpy blady thingy-> pop goes the head-> lifeless body collapses to the floor. No problem. Shiny new bloody neck comes in just fine, looks great. "Hmm...those are some fine pants you've got there sir...well since you won't be needing them anymore I hope you don't mind me taking them off your hands...er...legs." *takes dead dude's pants off* and POOF the crazy bastard's neck disappears (along with my prized new gorecap) This doesn't happen with just the main outfit. Looting ANY article of clothing or armor currently equipped to the npc makes their whole neck part disappear gore cap and all. Changing back to the vanilla meshes and textures works just fine, so it's something specifically wrong with mine. While testing around, I have found that this happens with ANY npc affected by the change (again, currently only human npc's atm). Also when resurrecting the poor dead guy, *pop* it comes back (I'm assuming the re-equipping of clothing reverts the bug). I have tried: -Checking the mesh in nifscope to see if I screwed something up. I copied the BSLightingShaderProperties directly from the vanilla mesh so it shouldn't have been an issue with that and lo and behold, everything is exactly the same. -Tried with a 100% clean save. Absolutely no mods other than this replacer. Still bugged, so it's not a mod conflict of some sort. -Checking in CK to see if anything somehow assigned it wrong. I don't see anything wrong, the decap armor addon is assigned to the correct slot (body slot 51) but I'm not a pro modder or anything so idk... Also worth noting: When you strip an npc of their clothing with some naughty console voodoo and then chop off their head, everything works just fine. Idk, I just need to move on and get all the other races and sexes working with the new cap and come back to fixing this issue later unless someone has any ideas. I'm losing my head over this (pun intended) Thanks in advance for any insight you guys could provide. I love you <3
  2. I am reposting this to "Skyrim Creation Kit and Modders" as I believe that to be a more appropriate place.

  4. My biggest issue, really is just getting Bodyslide to work. About 90% of the time I'm fighting to get it to select the right vertex because it'll select all the vertices BEHIND the one I'm working with and rotating to get a different angle is jarring as the camera is centered on the scene root with no way to change it. Thanks for the reply tho, definitely gave me a few more ideas to try, although I think I'm gonna start another project before I try them out, I've been screwing with this outfit for long enough. I need a break xD
  5. I'm throwin' in the towel here. Been working on an outfit for quite a while and it's ALMOST complete. I have it working in-game with no issues EXCEPT for the weights. For the most part, it's all fine except for the little buttons and the belt which have SERIOUS clipping/warping issues and I just can't get the weight-painting right, and Bodyslide has me at my wits end. If someone would be willing enough to bring their hand into my project I would be forever grateful. I may be asking a lot here and I wouldn't be asking if I knew any way I could pull it off myself but if you're feeling generous gimme a shout and I'll pass you the file. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwJkwWo-OnAMaXdNX0daYTZ3Y1E https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwJkwWo-OnAMM0FVYS1hb2o1dlk
  6. So I'm trying to rig a weapon to force npc's out of their power armor but can't for the life of me find where exiting pa is handled. Could someone be so kind as to put me on the right direction?
