Thanks for the tips about Outfit Studio, applying the material to the outfit through that also fixed the texture issues I was having. Thanks for the help guys.
  2. How do you copy and transfer the bone weights in BodySlide? I loaded a first person mesh (GITS_1stPerson_suit03) along with my custom first person file, highlighted the bones, copied them and tried to transfer them to my custom outfit but they wouldn't transfer over. When I'd delete the GITS_1stPerson_suit03 mesh to try and save my file, the bones would be deleted with it.
  3. Doing that just made the texture less gray. After changing the BSShaderTextureSet to how it was with the original file, it's invisible in-game. I'm not sure what to change at this point, I'll probably just scrap it and start over. Maybe I screwed something up along the way. At least I know what to do now, for the most part. Thanks again for the help. Edit: There is an already preexisting first person mesh for another GITS outfit that's somewhat similar to the one I was trying to create. If I can't get the custom one to work I'll just use that, just wanted to see if I could actually make one.
  4. The edited file already had BSLightingshaderproperty. Do I remove it? Also when I copy and paste the BSLightingshaderproperty from the original outfit file to the edited file, it goes to the bottom of the list. https://postimg.org/image/40jwy3gg7/ Doesn't matter if I select BSSubIndexTriShape and paste it there or paste it to the NiNode, it still goes to the bottom. https://postimg.org/image/ewwalpf93/ Also just copy or copy branch, does it matter which one? Another thing. I've seen on other nif files that the NiNode is named Scene Root. On my edited nif, it's just the name of the nif file itself (WastelanderFP). Does that need to be changed for the file to work properly? When I do change it to Scene Root, the number in brackets changes to 22 instead of being a 0 like on other nifs. https://postimg.org/image/wr427fh07/51f9e982/ Does that affect anything? Edit: Okay. Tried to set the texture under BSShaderTextureSet to the one that the outfit uses but it's not looking like how it's supposed to.
  5. I got it working for the most part. Using 3DSMax, I converted the FO4 nifs to FO3 versions and was able to properly edit it in Blender. Then went back into 3DSMax and converted the edited FO3 nif back to the FO4 version. Got it in game but without textures. I'll work more on it later and try to sort out the texture issue. Thanks for the help.
  6. Oh okay. Didn't realize that it wasn't the specific trishape for FO4. I'm using a Nif plugin for Blender and there's no option to export it to the FO4 Nif and it was set to export it as a Skyrim Nif instead. I found a better guide than the one I was using before. It says that i should use 3DSMax for exporting files to the FO4 format. I'll try that and see how it goes. Thanks.

  8. I'm trying to do an outfit mashup and need to get the right first person meshes.   9. Is there a way to adjust the amount that the camera can zoom in while in 3rd person? Are there lines to edit or add in the .ini to do this? I'd like to be able to zoom out to get a full body shot as well as being able to zoom in close to see the face.
  10. Thanks for the reply,man. I installed the mod that you linked to.It didn't solve the crash on start-up,but it'll help with other crashes throughout my game.I also deactivated the mods I installed prior to the issues I was having,then reactivated them one at a time to find out which one was raining on my parade.The iron sights plug-in for WME was the culprit.The master for the esp was WME - GRA(I had GRA Light).I'll have to consult the author about that issue(and hopefully get a fix).Anyway thanks for the help...even more thanks for the link to NV Error Corrections.Kudos to you good sir.   12. I like the design.It's fresh and new...BUT...I can't get to any of the tabs on mod pages.Files,images,comments,etc.When I click on them it stays on the description tab and refuses to move. This was on the TES Nexus and I'm positive the problem will still be there for the others.I do understand that the change was finalized today and there is still work to be done,but I beseech you... Please allow two sites for the nexus's so users can use the old ones until you fully sort everything out. Edit:The problem stated above is only occuring on the TES Nexus.There is also another.The files,images,wiki,and forum bits are overlapping the AD below the site banner (the image with the trees).This only happens on the TES Nexus.Otherwise it's all lined up across the banner on the other sites. Please excuse any flaws in my comment.
  13. Alrighty then.I'll be going to San Jose within a month or so.When I was last there,I saw that there was a Wally World...er...Wal-Mart. Well cutting things short.I want to know what the button layout for NV is with a 360 controller.The reason for this is that I have the GHK (Grenade Hotkey) mod installed along with the option for the melee weapons.I just want to make sure that I'll have enough free buttons. Thanks in advance.

Yeah,the same thing happens to me also.Just like how you described it.Since it started happening I began to play in windowed mode.Well for me I don't get an instant CTD.It just says that New Vegas isn't responding and the screen goes white.When that happens I usually leave it alone and let it sort things out by itself.For me it takes from a few seconds to about a minute(but thats rare).The only instant crash I have is when I try to exit the game.
