I found an easy solution. Don't know why it works, but once your in the cutscence just stare at the floor of the carriage. The camera will get bumped around a bit through the ride. So just do your best to keep as much of the scenery outside the monitor to were your just seeing the carriage floor. My ride makes it everytime.
