Houses are the only expensive thing worth buying in the game, and they're glitched for me so I'm overflowing with cash... Are there any mods to make me feel like I haven't wasted my time amassing all these riches with nothing cool to buy?

Howdy I know there has been mention of this before, but I have the glitch where the dialogue option for buying the bedroom and alchemy/enchantment upgrades for any house doesn't work. The dialogue option remains and the motherfuker even takes my money for one upgrade but doesn't do anything with it. I tried uninstalling dawnguard and (and the patch and related mods) but that just leads to a CTD on my save so it's not a very good fix. But the console command fix for the alchemy table in breezhome does work... so could some kind soul pretty please post the coc for the enabling/disabling of these house upgrades or tell me how i can find them myself

it must've been something that happened in game, in the end i resolved to going to a past save and haven't had the error... thanks a bunch though

Anyone else had this glitch? When I crouch the "eye" is always "open" - no "detected" message is shown, and I am still able to sneak, but that eye was one of Skyrim's few decent gauges and I'm pretty reliant on it I moved around the load order of the unofficial patch and better horses mod but I doubt that's what caused it - I don't have any sneak specific mods

Hi To start the quest were the vampire moppet wants to sneak into her own castle she keeps saying I have to get rid of the interloper before she reveals her secret tunnel even though I already got rid of my follower... and I don't recall having any others Is there anyway to find out/get rid of followers? I'm on the PC so I'm prepared to use my coc. also fuk this buggy DLC ... at first I couldn't proceed with the vampire lord cause they would turn hostile, now this... and it's only been the first day

...except she doesn't die on my game, I tried toggling setessential (it didn't work, was still essential) disabling her, using a mod that disables essentiality, punching my monitor. so incredibly annoying

I can't kill Gen Tullius or Leg Rikke because they are set as essential, when you knock down Rikke she gets back up acts like nothing happened - I tried to use setstage to complete the quest entirely but then you are asked to report to Ulfrich, but it doesn't give you the right dialogue option I tried using a previous save to no avail... so I'm open to suggestions what's the proper way to fix/go around this?

...would've made sense if you could block with the mid mouse button and use the right click as a secondary attack or spell part of the advantage to dual wielding is that you can block easier (than with a one handed weapon and no shield)

...something similar happened in fallout too

I gotta say Skyrim actually did well on this front, providing you with overpriced house decorations and crash courses for skills - much better than fallout where after a certain point you become richer than the rest of the wasteland combined and have nothing to spend it on ...even so I was wondering if there are good mods to help me make the most out of the extra 50k sticking out the dragonborn's pockets

Hi, I somehow accidentally switched folders in the middle of a computer clean up and perm-deleted some fallout files - I don't even know what the fiels were but know my game doesn't launch now... is there any way to replace these files without overwriting the mods I've applied (i.e. only repacing whatever file is missing in order to make) thanks a bunch
