Something very unique would be interesting... Perhaps a... Portal-esque facility. All white and clean, with little glass elevators to each area. Or, using the "Offices and scaffolding" stuff from the one texture pack I'll need to find, it could be in an old, delapidated research "office". I'm not really sure, to be honest. Just something different. Not so much that it doesn't fit in the Fallout universe, but not just another vault or industrial building. You know, sort of how there's the unique snowy setting for Jacobstown (I love snow, btw). Or the rollercoaster in Primm, or, hell, even Vegas. I dunno, really. But something just different would be fun, since that area will be the area people are in the most. Since you bring up Tranquility Lane... Will this require sources from FO3?

I agree with doing one or two weeks, and the initial release having 2 or 3 levels. Story is very important, and I really don't think releasing levels progressively over the course of a few months will ruin or deflate it in any way. People will become interested in this, especially with updates, so they should play it and await more as time passes. Then, after it is finished, late people can still play it all at once and get the full impact. But still, either way. Exciting!

This is a great idea! I love this so much. I voted that it would be nice to have named areas, that companions should be allowed -- though it doesn't matter to me that much either way, and that levels should be fairly large. I love the idea of having outdoor areas, as someone above said, some that would be great. Of course, if you want to do small worlds you can. You can do both; mix it up now and again. Then it would be like a surprise each week! This is a really exciting endeavor to me. If you need any help at all coming up with ideas for places, quests, etc. just let me know. I would love to help you out there. Though I'm sure you can come up with some amazing stuff. Your current mods are proof of that. I'm really looking forward to this!

REALLY!? That would be so awesome! :hurr: Uhh... now that you ask, i don't really know. I say human with no tattoos or piercings. SHORT hair (not like super short, kind of like the Waster style, but not like the mods that give him mega shoulder length and beyond hair) and yeah. Chiseled facially. Good looking, you know. And if he came across as kind of smug. I don't know what else technically speaking. I don't know if you're planning to give him quests and a history and voice acting or not.

Ohmygodohmygodohmygod If you make a male companion i will love you forever. And ever. All I ask is that they look... handsome. :) And before you ask, yes, I am a male, and yes, I like handsome men. Just to get that out of the way. I would LOVE to help you out all I can with this. I cannot do modeling or any actual mod work, but... I can offer opinions and help writing-wise. And if you make a multi-person quest I can voice act. But not for the main guy, that would be frightening. Anyway... I like the story idea. But you geared it towards women, though I assume it will be the same for men as well. I hope, anyway. I want a male companion that doesn't play favorites here. >:u So... as for MEN, perhaps he wants to entice you (you being a male courier) into the cave to attack and kill you, to prove your worth to the Legion or whatever. Whenever he knocks you out he realizes you have a lot more strength, weapons, etc. than he thought. Before you two can fight, you are attacked by the Legion. Here you show your worth to HIM by helping him fight off the Legion. And through text choices after that you can either go romantic or friendly, and move on from there. Of course, I don't imagine him being like "oh other male yes let us ride off into the moonlight together" so it'd be somewhat comical at first to get him to go down that path. But it would be amazing none-the-less.

Is that what you really did; downloaded the GECK with no knowledge on modding and created Willow? My most favorite companion of all time? You have inspired me. How long did it take you to get everything down? Sorry if this is going too off-topic. :ohdear: Um... the dog companion sounds neat. There are lots of dog companions but taking a different approach would be nice. So would the one Mardrigon suggested; the military man, that is. Of course... I really want one that's like a young guy who's going out to make a living just scavenging across the world, etc. I don't know how to explain myself, ever. Good luck with whatever you choose. If it's another female or animal I'm going to be so upset. I searched FO3 and FNV yesterday for male companions and found like three combined, and they weren't even good. :ohdear:

Make sure to contact the creators. :)

LOVE RFCW. I check the discussion for it every day, haha. Weather mods for FNV will not effect areas in FO3. If you want weather mods in FO3, you have to install a FO3 mod. To install FO3 mods for use with RFCW, you just install the FO3 mods into the FNV directory, as if it were a FNV mod. Then boom! You're good to go. After you check it in FOMM, of course. There are some mod conflicts, but you'll need to figure those out for yourself. I'm using tons of mods, and some advanced ones (like the J3X motorcycle and Wasteland Defense) even work.
