I need to voice an npc and was planning on using vanilla resources since it is only simple things I need them to say but i cant figure out how to do it, if anybody could link a tutorial or post how to do it I would be very grateful

I have made many cusom interiors in the geck, but this one I have made twice now will not work for some reason also it uses only vanilla resources.
so my question is has anyone experienced this or know of common reasons this could happen
I know this isn't exactly an easy question to answer but I spent a few hours on this to get it perfect, so any help would be appreciated

For a mod I am making i need to make it so hat you have to get this guy a drink and I can't figure out how to make it so it is required to carry on the conversation, I already have it so it removes the drink from the players inventory but at the moment You can complete that stage of dialogue with out it as well, I need it so that it is necessary to have the drink.
just wondering if anyone could help me with this

I think fallout 4 (or whatever they are going to call it) will be single player but I do know that there is a Fallout MMORPG being released here if you are intrested, maybe this is what you heard about

It is possible to do in the Geck as under the Head parts tab on an npc you can add as many beards as you want and then all you need to do is make it a preset and you can use it on your character

Seems like a good idea to make hardcore mode a little more realistic, I just hope the animations won't bee too graphic :tongue:

your rig seems fine although if I had one suggestion it would be the graphics card it should be fine for new vegas but maybe not with all the mods but I hear if you over clock the GTX460 you can make it run as good as a GTX 470 but I think your problem seems to be with mod incompatabilities since have a large number of them, you should probably try remove a few of the bigger mods for a while to narrow down the cause

might be a long shot but have you cleaned your fan recently? because I had a similair problem with a different game where my computer was working too hard and didn't get enough air to it so it just stopped working, I don't know if this will solve your problem but if you could run it on high before it could be something simple like this or a hardware issue or even the games issue if you have some unstable mods installed i find that an unstable game can do stuff like this aswell

I have never experienced this problem but if you suspect it is those mods try running the game without them for a while and see if it is, if it is the mods you won't be able to use them but at least you can play the game properly

If you tell us how you are installing them it might help, for instance the problem could be you are putting the data folder from the mod in to oblivion/data instead of meging the two folders sounds simple but i still sometimes do it :/

I had this problem when I used Requim to the capital wasteland if you are using that that could be the problem, or if you have recently uninstalled any custom textures for vats you will need to replace them with the vanilla files

Thats fine then I just thought I should tell you incase you get banned for it but it's sorted now.
but also on topic I agree with you there doesnt need to be a mod for it as everyone has different packs or none at all and the items are pretty useless after a while anyway

Yeah but unless you pre ordered it 4 times you may have got them illegaly is what I'm saying which isn't really allowed on this forum, you may have them legitimately but i'd be careful what you say because i've seen people get banned for saying they have got all the pre order packs, just a heads up

Basically I need the texture for the plain Powder ganger outfit to retexture for a mod I am making but I cant find it anywhere, I have unpacked the texture .bsas and loked in NewVegas/Data/Textures/armor/PowderGang but there is only the texture for the soldier outfit, so I was just wonderiing if anyone knows a way for me to get it

I need help making a quest in the Geck, I have most of the scripting down but for multiple speakers in a quest am i supposed to make seperate quests for different NPC's or just put all the dialogue for every NPC in one quest.
Any help would be appreciated

sorry, as far as i am aware the only way to legally play it is through steam, but using steam doesnt really make a huge difference to the process of running the game and it automatically updates itself so its not all bad
