  1. L0rd0fWar, I'm sorry you had to endure this deluge of bullsh*t from angry genetic defects who wouldn't understand 'courtesy' even if someone wrapped it around a brick and beat them over the head with it. Regardless of your decision to return to modding or not, just know this: you made a lot of folks happy and we greatly appreciate your contributions that, as you said, extended the life of these games for free. And to all of you console v. PC inbreds, I own both because I'm neither broke nor incompetent. Sure, bethnet got off to a rocky start and their interface is still mobile browser-centric garbage, but they've finally given the appearance they give a damn and are knocking out corrupt/stolen content as quick as these theives and idiots can upload it. Your absurd angst relies on the idea that they should be clairvoyant enough to prevent illegal/dirty files before they're uploaded. What does that entail? Creating a flexible filter that scans against the hundreds of thousands of mods for these games and comparing that to some MA opt-in approval/disapproval list? It's either their trash website or no mods at all, lest MS endures a tsunami of bricked systems. Use your heads.
  2. In response to post #35656147. #35658747, #35659277 are all replies on the same post. Yeah, but consider what other words might accompany "WebMD" in a Google search, and at what frequency. The scope of Internet advertising is broad, if not lazy.
  3. In response to post #35656147. It's an unfortunate part of modern day targeted advertising, which generates content based on the viewer's browsing habits. And it's not going away because companies strongly believe it's an effective means.
  4. See if load order is a factor, then go through your mods one by one and check to see which are likely to conflict. Worse case scenario you'll have to load each mod one by one.
  5. This shouldn't be a contributor now but just in case open your SkyrimPrefs.ini and look for/add the following line to the [Launcher] section bEnableFileSelection=1 This next one is more likely (hopefully) the cause of your issue; Open your launcher, go to Data Files, simply press "OK" to leave that menu. Every time I add a new mod I have to go through this process. But while in there, double check to see if mods are loaded, just in case.
  6. I know this is going to be a bit vague but off the top of anyone's head can anyone recall what mod specifically adds the high level "Thief" (wearing guild armor) near Embershard Mine (first mine you encounter on your way to Riverwood past the Guardian Stones), or the "Marauders" (wearing orcish armor) near the tower enroute to Bleak Fall Barrows? It's not the overpower I mind, but they seem to be in groups and wipe the floor with my new character. Having to avoid mobs seems a little counter-productive to the reason I need to swing my sword against most things with a heartbeat I come across so I need help determining this mod so I can delete it. I'm on a fresh install and all mods were installed yesterday, so there's no lingering mods from before. Iv'e one-at-a-timed mods trying to figure out which one specifically adds them but with no success. I've reread through my downloaded mod descriptions and did not see anything that described adding high level mobs. I apologize in advance for the redundancy. I'll try not to list any solely cosmetic or other mods, but here's what I'm running; Battleflute Frostfall Climates of Tamriel Dovahkiin Relax Dynavision Expanded Skyrim Presets Imaginator Natural Skyrim Rain Thor Hammer (ghosu's) Ultimate Follower Overhaul Whiterun Fortified Whiterun Revision SkyTest (disabled and still had the OP mobs, unless a fresh game start was required to purge the mod) Thank you for any help you can provide.
  7. Just to piggy-back off of this exceptional idea, how do people feel about an optional generic "Call Dragon" shout to taunt those dovah that would rather fly in circles than challange the dragonborn?
  8. Can one of you mod gods give us the animation/ability to glide like a Dragon Priest? Not necessarily a walking animation replacer, but something initiated by a spell or interaction with an item. Thank you.
  9. A request to the mod gods for NPC blacksmiths that can create weapons and armors using the materials you provide and with the ability to improve them to their respective cap. Also requesting a mod for NPC enchanters a la Morrowind. Now, I haven't been able to find a request thread on this meaning one of two things; 1) Would implimenting these features cause a severe imbalance in the game? 2) I'm terrible at using search engines. If this is the case please point me to the right thread so I can piggyback off of that request and delete this one.
