  1. Do you have Hi-Res version of Deadly Spell Impacts? I used to have a problem where my game freezed outdoors, and someone suggested to remove Deadly Spell Impacts. I changed to Medium-Res version of it, and the freezes stopped (atleast it seems so). You should try that too! So, try to change Hi-res version of Deadly Spell Impacts to Medium-res or Low-res, or remove completely.
  2. Thank you very much for your tip volnaiskra. I changed from the Hi-Res version of DeadlySpellImpacts to Med-Res, and I haven't had any freezes like before after that. It seems that my game runs rather well now. Thank you very much for your help, I'll have to confirm by playing more (just managed to do all this yesterday).
  3. I really wish someone could help me and perhaps point out the mod that could be the real cause. I have lots of texture mods too, not enough to go over VRAM, but if someone knows texture mods that might cause freezes..
  4. Greetings all. I have this problem with my Skyrim, that makes the screen freeze, but sounds still play, when running around outdoors. The game doesn't CTD, and I have to ctrl+alt+del to close the prcoess. It happens at random, sometimes after 1 minute, sometimes after 10 or 20 minutes, but it happens, and always outdoors. I have ruled out the following causes: -RAM, I have 8GB and Skyrim only uses about 2.4 at max. -VRAM, I have 2GB and Skyrim uses about 1.9 at max. It used to crash because of VRAM, but it crashed straight to desktop without a warning, not freeze in game. -Any hardware failure/overheating. -Graphics cards drivers, happens when using different ones. -ENB. The freezes happened before installing my first ENB. Again, the game screen FREEZES, but the sounds continue to play, and I have to ctrl+alt+del out and close the process from task manager. Here are my mods and my .ini files. Mods: Skyrim.ini SkyrimPrefs.ini I used to do the mod load order just by BOSS, but as the game kept freezing, and after reading some topics here I changed it with Wrye Bash, and it still keeps freezing. My PC is rather fast, and I have a constant 30+ FPS with all these mods. Core i5 2500K, HD6950 2GB, 8GB RAM, so it's not because of that. Any help that would cease my Skyrim from freezing would be appreciated. Thanks in advance to your suggestions!
  5. Installed 12.6 WHQL drivers (http://www.guru3d.com/news/amd-catalyst-126-whql-driver-download/), and set shadow resolutions to 4096. UI works just fine, so the problem was indeed with the 12.7 beta drivers.
  6. are you downloading the 12.6 driver now? If so let me know if it fixes the issue. Downloading right now, will report back after installed and tested Skyrim.
  7. Oops, it seems that the 12.6 drivers do work just fine, the problem is only with the 12.7 beta drivers. I submitted a report to AMD about the issue.
  8. So, we'll have to wait for new drivers, which hopefully fix this.. Or roll back to previous set. ;/ Atleast we know the cause, now.
  9. I read on Guru3d forums that this could be caused by latest AMD Catalyst beta drivers, more precisely versions 12.6 beta and 12.7 beta. Do you have an AMD graphics card and those drivers? If you do, then I think its safe to say the drivers cause the corruption, as I am using AMD Catalyst 12.7 beta.
  10. I have exaclty the same problem, I posted about it here -> http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/713588-ui-broken-outdoors/ For me, the UI only bugs outside, and now I tested with 1024 shadow resolution, works nice.. But a fix would be nice, as I previously used 4096 resolution without problems, until a few days ago. Help us!
  11. Greetings to you, I really hope someone can help me out here! I've got this issue with my Skyrim a while ago, where my UI bugs out completely when I go outdoors. Indoors, everything works fine, but when I exit, say, an inn, my UI goes crazy. The experience bar fills up, even if it really shouldn't be full, and the compass is all bugged with the icons spread over the screen, not inside the compass, and my stamina bar doesn't empty when I run, but the whole green bar moves. Last, but not least, my or the enemies health bar's dont react to anything. I lose health, but the health bar stays idle. Here's a screenshot of the stamina bar and the compass. http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/5484/skyrimn.jpg At first I thought it would be because of ImmersiveHUD after updating it to 1.6.3 from 1.4, but I removed that mod and it didnt help. Then I removed all of my mods, but the UI still doesn't work outdoors. Finally I deleted the whole game folder, and the ini files, and re-installed Skyrim, but still, when I start a new game or load my old saves, I get this s*** when I go outdoors. As I said, the UI works fine indoors. Please, someone, tell me what to do :) e. Issue solved, was caused by AMD Catalyst 12.7 beta drivers.
