In fact, I was talking about Vectorplexus' High Poly Head vs. the Vanilla head mesh. I don't use anything else. From your first post I assume you already have the High Poly Head by Vectorplexus. What I meant: When you got High Poly Head by Vectorplexus (or any other mod, that adds new head meshes) installed, you should see multiple "head parts" options in Racemenu: As I said, it's a slider in the "head" tab. Some of these options are simply Vanilla heads (that's what I was talking about), others are from High Poly Head. Again, high poly head meshes aren't applied to your presets automatically. Hey guys, I'm modding Skyrim LE (Steam) with latest Vortex. I have installed the required prerequisites: RaceMenu (LE, SE)Expressive Facegen Morphs (LE, SE) [optional]- This doesn't seem to work. I haven't noticed any polygon improvements in RaceMenu char edit. Expressive Facial Animation Male Edition (LE, SE) [optional]Expressive Facial Animation Female Edition (LE, SE) [optional] I have also installed the main High Poly Head 1.4 to see if it works w/out prerequisites. No results. So, after some research I seem to have isolated the issue. The faulty mod is "Book Covers Skyrim". It's pretty wild since I've never had the issue with the mod prior to this in Oldrim or previous SE builds. I simply uinstalled the mod and Merchants are acting OK now. I'll be starting my first TEST playthrough and report any issues if anyone's having the same problem. Thanks guys.

Hello guys, Pretty experienced Oldrim modder here. I'm testing my "SE" version before playing and the only issue I'm encountering is CTD randomly when talkin/buying/selling from Merchants. TESTED on Whiterun/Riverwood merchs. Hey guys, I have a heavily modded Skyrim, 255 active plug ins. Latest SKSE, All LOOT organized and TES5 cleaned! (Load order below) I played with NO issues with same character for a year. Now I start a brand new character and when I save and load that character the game freezes after 5 seconds. Each time. However I can go back to the first created character and load with no problem. What could be the cause of this? NOTE: Through experimenting, I've noticed this happens primarily when importing a preset via char gen. Thanks

Hello guys, Let me start off by saying I accomplished making nearly every NPC in Skyrim a potential follower with "I need you, follow me" dialogues. On my other PC I used the combination of these two mods: UFO Ultimate Follower Overhaul & Make Nearly Everyone Your Follower + Marriagable. Now it doesn't seem to be working. What could be possible problem to this? Thanks for your time.

Thanks Laiilaiiheii, The first video cleared my head. With my previous Skyrim modding (older rig) and 244 esp/esm count I was always under the impression I can mod the crap out of Skyrim and make it run well if I follow the right steps. The guy in the video plainly explains this many mods is simply game breaking in the long run. I'll just stick with few favorite mods to make the overall vanilla exp. more interesting and stay away from cumbersome mods. Thanks again. I'll try a new approach now.

Thanks so much for replying guys! Now, I thought I installed ENBoost correctly by going to this MOD. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73618/? It has two folders: Default and Less Stuttering. So I just tried copying one of those into my main Skyrim folder. Isn't it how ENBoost installed, am I missing a step? I'll go through your links and get back to ya.

Hello guys, I can't seem to accomplish a stable setting. The game keeps crashing at various points. Let me guide you through the steps I took installing the mods and maybe you can give me a few pointers. 1. Installed SKYRIM from Steam, Nexus MM. Used the latest LOOT + TES5Edit to clean mods. I went with "RealVision ENB - FULL VERSION" so I meticulously followed the instructions for installation from this page except instead "Verdant Grass" I am using "Unbelievable Grass Two". Please note I used 2K textures and Parallax where possible. The heavy "WARZONES - Civil Unrest 2015" also uses 2K NPC option. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73661/? Here is my load order so far (and I plan to add up to 244 esm) 2. I looked at different 4GB Memory patch options including SSME, Prepatch Killer, Safety Load and decided to go with the "Skyrim Project Optimization" option plus "Sheson's SKSE Memory Patch" by creating my own SKSE.ini with these settings: [General] EnableDiagnostics=1 ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Display] iTintTextureResolution=2048 [Memory] defaultHeapInitialAllocMB=1024 scrapHeapSizeMB=384 3. Then I tweaked my enblocal.ini and stress tested it with "Memory Blocks Log". Sometimes I speedrun through the terrain and the game never crashes (few minor fps drops from 60 to 40 during heavy Civil War, Dragon Attacks) This is my enblocal.ini setting: My last memory blocks log before the game crashed to windows looks like this: PROBLEMS: I hear there is no work around Windows 10 limiting older games to 4GB. My absolute priority is to accomplish NO CRASHES to desktop and try to preserve solid 60fps as much as possible!!! Hey guys, I'm not a new comer to modding . I have a fairly stable SKYRIM install on my previous less powerful rig with 254 esp/esms! With this new powerful rig I merely installed "Natural Lighting ENB" with some textures with JK's Complete Skyrim Overhaul mod, and Open Cities (JK's Patch) and it crashes on me every time I "alternate start" the game in Whiterun and try to come out of building. I did the following: 1. Installed SMME with Memory Block Log. (Gophers) 2. Tried the SKSE alternate memory patch with SKSE.ini [MEMORY]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768ScrapHeapSizeMB=256 3. Made sure I altered Skyrimprefs.ini according to ENB's page specifications. 4. Hey guys, I just installed the "Season's of Skyrim ENB" HD6 Tribute version by following this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pqtpj6AZyc I followed her instructions perfectly. My 45 mods all sorted with LOOT. I noticed after updating the Ini files the game won't start from SKSE or regular launcher. Could someone explain what could be the problem, have you ran into same issues? Is it because I installed the wrong ENB series from Boris' site? The "Seasons of Skyrim ENB" asked for "enbseries_skyrim_v0262" and I have installed the d3d9.dll file from the "enbseries_skyrim_v0305"??

Frank, I wasn't sure if I could do that. Esp with manual ENB installation and SKSE launcher file. I'm just not sure how would the game launch w/out the Mod Manager if I simply reinstalled the windows, clean skyrim install, plus drop the Data folder? Is that really as simple as that?

Hey guys, I've noticed over the years there're a selection of SKYRIM versions circulating, with a variety of mod setups. I've been modding my own game for several years and have a fairly decent experience using tools like LOOT, TES5, ENB, and also looking into Wyre Bash. I'm getting my spanking new rig today and I'm going to mod the crap out of Skyrim. After I want to "back up" my game in case my computer crashes/gets virus etc. So, I'm entertaining the idea of creating my very own re-pack. Nothing fancy, like unique installer menus or anything like that. Just a folder game I can use for a new clean install, and also share with other gamers. Would anyone know what're the first steps learning about re-packing, or a tutorial, or a dedicated forum/community for that? Has anyone here tried making their own re-packs? Thanks. No, that's not what I said. I said you can for sure use 4k textures along with an ENB without getting FPS below 60. I don't know exactly how your performance will be if you also plan to play in 4k resolution (that's something totally different than 4k textures!) but according to several users that have a similar rig and a heavy modded Skyrim you won't get 60fps in 4k. Oh, I got a bit confused. Sorry. Ok, and if I want to consider 4K, which components should I look into upgrading? Is a 2x Card option an absolute must?
