  1. Vicente has actually been one of the people I've slain before any others. He's a massive creep. I don't mind the humor, but looking at that horrendous excuse of a face is just too much. If the Kahjiit hasn't managed to really tick me off, he's the next one in line.
  2. Hmm, well there's the Apachii Heroes' Store, but I think that may require Robert's male body. I don't remember. I'm also quite fond of TDA Armory, but last I had looked the armors can only be equipped as sets (meaning the gauntlets, boots, cuirass, and greaves are one item) and therefore can only hold one enchantment. However, it also adds helmets and shields which can be equipped as individual items, and adds in some weaponry as well.

Other than those two I can't call to mind anything for males that I've actually used.

  3. I really don't think I've seen my game advance more than a year or two. Plenty of time has gone into each of my characters, but when I sleep to raise a level I only rest one hour and I scarcely ever just wait. It's a lot harder to pass time if you're actually doing something. Then again, I've never really watched too closely so who knows. Maybe it has gone more.
  4. People need to stop worrying about something as trivial as fast travel. You're never forced to use it, and if you don't want to you shouldn't. Saying, "I don't want to, but if it's there I feel that I have to," is some of the biggest crap I've ever heard. Is it truly that incredibly difficult to just not use it? I can't even imagine it being difficult.

Aside from that, though, I would not mind seeing more "realistic" forms of fast travel. Teleportation spells to major cities/landmarks, horse-drawn carriages, boats, hell having a big strong guy toss you down a mountain works. They'd be great for immersion, but they can also be done without. Fast travel isn't perfect, but it's not terrible either. Be glad it's not going the course of the Fable games. Those let you travel from anywhere, regardless of enemy presence, to almost anywhere important in the game, right down to individual buildings. That's something that needs complained about. For a world that small, fast travel isn't needed. In a world as expansive as the Elder Scrolls series, it is.

  5. Reinstalled game as said above and reinstalled mods with mod manager, still not working :(

Then you are not installing the mods correctly.

This, or the mods you are using aren't any good. Also make sure you removed the mods from the first time around. I know that simply uninstalling Oblivion does not remove my mods. Those I have to go back and delete manually. Therefore, if you never got rid of the mods, the same issues are going to keep arising. I also suggest that you place the mods back in one at a time, and test the game after each one. That's a pretty stupid-proof way I use to see what mod is deciding to make things suck.

  6. how many saves do you have?

    Hmmm...

Rather a lot actually. I deleted lots of them recently, but it looks like I better tidy up again.

But would too many saves slow down the loading bar?

It might, because I've been noticing similar issues. I don't use a ton of mods, but I've got maybe 10. Easily have more than 10 different saves though. Takes me a solid 2 minutes to load up anywhere in a city, and longer anywhere in the IC. If saves is the issue though I may cut back. Any other things that cause this though?

  7. When I was crouching in the Arcane University... I (accidentally) pickpocketed I think it was Raminus Polus when I went to talk to him. :(

Then I did it again by accident. o_O

I also hate when things 'jump out' in caves and dungeons, like vampires and zombies, that scares the shi- out of me.

Yeah, those thing jumping out have caused more than one palpitation. I play with Darker Nights from the Natural Environments mod I use, so when a random Xivlai (sp?) comes out of nowhere I practically jump out of my chair. Going to need to get myself a bigger flashlight.

  8. Nah, I get what you mean. It'd be nice to have some giant battle axe wielding Daedra or something that you can go kill with some companions. I don't mind slashing back and forth a few times with bandits though because there's really not much variety in the enemy encounters to begin, simply because there's not any giant Daedra bosses hiding out in a cave somewhere. The novelty of the combat seems to wear off a little more slowly, for me at least, if the fights at least last a little longer, even if we're just clicking the same button over and over.
  9. Actually, the trapped soul automatically goes into the smallest soul gem in your inventory that is capable of holding the soul. Since Azura's star is the largest (usable) soul gem in the game; it will always fill last. OOO does not affect this.

Ahh, so I had it backwards lol. My apologies OP, I don't use Soul Gems that much.

  10. Just incase you were still wondering, i found that mod that caused it.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35546 - causes a bullet/kill shot feature where the camera follows your arrow to the target for the final kill shot. It slows down time as it does this, and the timescale wasnt reseting in some cases, as the arrow would sometimes fly through an object and end up flying forever. Fixed it by shooting another arrow at a wall or something to allow the time to reset when it landed correctly.

Glad you solved the issue. Doncha hate when it's something so simple and easy, but nearly drives you insane?

  11. I've had this problem if I Alt + Tab out of the game, but never for just opening up the Inventory. That said, I never really saw it as that big of an issue. I'm not sure what causes the problem, though. Either way is it really that difficult to just hit a button and leave the stance? Messing around with something to fix such a small problem like this strikes me as one of those time when it's a lot easier to make things worse than to make a small thing better.
  12. I'd power level just to force out more of a challenge from NPCs. I've always noticed that if I level my character efficiently the difficulty of the game sharply decreases around the 25-35 range. Aside from that, if I'm using armor from mods that has some powerful defenses and enchantments, coupled with a rather powerful weapon, I'll need stronger enemies. I'm not the kind of person that likes being ambushed by some bandits in the middle of nowhere, and subsequently dropping them in one hit. If I'm outnumbered three to one, I want it to feel like I'm outnumbered.

Suppose that it depends on how you want to play the game. I've played it enough on easy difficulties that I want a challenge now. I've seen enough of the game that a challenge isn't bad, as I'm not worried about easily being able to do a quest or try some obscure Ayleid ruins out.

  13. I think with soul gems the soul automatically fills the largest, empty soul gem. I'm not sure of anything that can change that. Unless someone else knows something I don't, you may just need to leave your other soul gems elsewhere until you need them.
